Dr. Earth 702P Organic 3 Rose & Flower Fertilizer in Poly Bag, 4-Pound

I use to work at a garden center and these bags would fly off the shelf, for good reason too. Giving Dr. Earth to plants is the equivalent to eating yogurt for humans, it is a great source of probiotics. I had knock out roses that were looking diseased and dull, as well as clematis that would not do anything. In less than a week of feeding, the roses shot up like they were on a mission, coloring our landscape, and the clematis are now clinging to my railings and finally pushing buds. You will never go wrong purchasing Dr. Earth.

I transplanted a small rose bush in my garden and did a horrible job. I unfortunately hurt some of the roots. The plant tried to die on me for a couple weeks and I finally got this fertilizer and added some in to the top of the soil and watered daily. After a couple more weeks the plant came around and is now flourishing. He’s fat and sassy with a ton of blooms. I’m sure after the initial shock and the help with water and fertilizer it all helped.Ive added this fertilizer to some of my other plants that like a similar acidic soil, and they are all flourishing well. Just tossed some scoops in the top soil, mixed it in a little, and lots of watering

I used this for my newly planted roses and they haven't die yet! They are producing a lot of new buds and flowers. I think the price is good for 4 pounds of fertilizer. IT DOES SMELL! Not horrible but it does. I didn't buy this for the smell. I don't really measure. I usually just grab a handful or so, top dress, and then water the roses.I can't speak for dogs like other reviewers but cats also love this stuff too. I left it in my garage for only one night and the following morning the bag had been chewed through and knocked on the ground. We let our cats play in the garage while we are home and one or both decided they really like this stuff. I had to scoop up what I could, put it in a Ziploc bag, and storage it in a higher location. If you have outside cats, they might become very interested in your flowers after using this.Pros: My flowers are growing fast and strong, OrganicCons: Smelly!, Cats may get into it 😉

After moving into a house built in 1927, with 5 hardy, beautiful old heirloom roses, I looked for a product to enhabce and support them.The age of the plantings made moving them a big threat to their survival, and they were all experiencing leaf rot and other infestations. I purchased the house in part because of these glorious plantings, and felt responsible for their survival. Dr. Earth to the rescue! After a few weeks, the leaves grew in healthy and the number of blooms is impressive compared to before. I have never encountered a product for the care of roses that is so efficient and effective! I have a organic vegetable garden as well, so it was great to know that flowers close to it were not contaminating the produce.

After I applied this product to my Rose & Gardenia plants - both potted plants - they attracted fire ants. It could be purely a coincidence. But I am notching stars for that. I've never had any ants in any of my potted plants before. The plants seem to be doing okay but I hate having to deal with fire ants. I don't know if it was the fish meal in this blend that attracted the fire ants. I usually use Fox Farms Big Bloom Liquid Concentrate Fertilizer & Earthworm Castings Organic Fertilizer for my plants. I'm sticking to them henceforth.

My ground over roses had stopped blossoming in the early Summer so my neighbor said I needed to feel them. After applying it once, within about a week & a half all my rose bushes were full of blooms and continue to bloom. It’s been about a month since I applied. I’m going to definitely get more.

This is the best flower and rose fertilizer I have ever used! My roses were sad and a week later nothing but new shoots and blooms everywhere in 2 weeks!

I have gotten so many comments on how big and bright my roses are. Actually I have even noticed that some of my roses have started to change colors and I only put a small amount of fertilizer 1 time this spring. I just purchased 2 more bags so I have enough to fertilize in July/Aug for the price the results are incredible. I also love the fact that it is safe around pets.
