Perfect for women and retirees
This is like having a third hand that do the hard work for you, specially I’m a 68 years old man. Actually I’m still strong enough to lift up the furniture but what is the risk injuring your back by holding the file cabinet with one hand and insert a sliding pad with the other hand? Is it not worthed. I said perfect for women and retirees but actually I would recommend to everybody to use this product, a few squeezes of the handle will jack up a refrigerator effortlessly, the good part is you just need 1/8” of clearance to insert the tool under the object, you don’t need 2 hands to squeeze the handles ,the release tab is just a light push and it will bring the object down incrementally, the lifting height is 6.5”. I’m retired and I’m glad that I invest on this inexpensive tool because I don’t want to live the rest of my life with a walker due from back injury which is very common problem for lots of people in this country. You can be smart and strong but a simple mistake will make you regret for the rest of your life. I’m very grateful to whoever that invent this gadget , back in the old time you need at least 2 peoples to do the work, now you can tackle the job yourself. The tools are sturdy and the material is strong and durable, come in a nice thick cardboard box for storage. Definitely an essential tool in your garage.

Helps with the lifting SO MUCH - great quality, easy to use
I was somewhat skeptical that this tool would actually be as strong and reliable as the reviews and description claimed, but I'm not getting any younger and needed help so I wanted to try them out. I'm excited to say that they exceeded all my hopes of workmanship, strength, ease of operation, and all of the claims of performance. This is a very nice tool and I have used them for so many "assists' on numerous occasions around the house on different projects. They are very well made and the price was very affordable. I highly recommend anyone who needs a little help with lifting items around the house.

Beware. Very Dangerous.
I'd rate these things as very dangerous. probably because the lifting forks are too short/soft and angled downward slightly. Secondly because the feet have no grip at all. And thirdly because there is nothing solid to keep the distance between the lifts the same. First I tried lifting a 100 pound oven to test the lift capabilities. Once I got the oven around 5-6 inches off the ground one of the lifts on the opposite side from where I was tilted out of position and caused the oven to suddenly fall on one side. I figured it was my fault for jacking more 2 hand pumps at a time instead of 1. I also realized how important it is to have wood under whatever you're lifting so if it falls it won't have far to fall. Also it won't tilt as much so there's less chance it will topple over. Next I tried lifting a 300+ pound appliance with tons of safety wood beneath it. When I got it around 8 inches high one of the lifts stopped working. It would only "lift" if I held the appliance up while pumping the jack with no weight on it. Again a jack tilted out of position suddenly and the appliance fell. Luckily it only fell maybe 1-2 inches because of the backup wood. What I ended up doing was using these lifts just to get my appliance 7 inches off the ground (with the safety wood beneath as mentioned). Then I rolled a car floor jack with a long piece of 3/4 inch wood running perpendicular to the lift handle under the appliance. Took a lot of trial and error to find the best position of wood & lift point so the appliance was mostly balanced. Also had a strap around the side of the appliance I could hold onto to help balance it. Then a friend pumped the jack handle. Was able to get the appliance up to 14 inches and set it on a temporary table. From there it was easy to lift it by hand the last 2 inches i needed.

Helpful tool for a one man job
I was tiling a floor and needed to maneuver a few appliances around and this little guys were a HUGE help.... They easily lifted a standard fridge and a stacked washer/dryer unit for me to put roller underneath. For a one-man operation these made the job go much smoother than I was expecting. A few things to keep in mind: - They work better in tandem and easily lifted these appliances but struggled when I tried to do it with one. - The forks are not very long so you need to be sure to push the lifter right against the item you are lifting.. My forks bent slightly at the start as I did not have them positions fully. - The forks are solid metal and are a little slippery. I wish they had some grooves or "texture" etched into them to prevent some sliding on the metal undersides of the appliances. Overall a very positive experience.

Works as described
We used it on heavy dressers, appliances, an armoire, heavy couch. Used 2 to jack up one side and hold to apply felt pads under. It cranked fine, held fine with no damage, and had covers for the feet to prevent floor damage. As other reviews said, it’s not buffered when you push the down button. It shoots all the way down hard, no gradual release or soft landing. Knowing this, we had one jack cranked to half height to catch the furniture (with humans around to prevent tipping). With that we could stair-step it down. Good tool, very useful. 1 star deduction for the unbuffered down function.

Great Tool for Lifting, Leveling and Installing Heavier Pieces
A great helping tool for lifting up, leveling and installing heavy pieces, cabinets, closet boxes and shelves, even for lifting pieces of furniture safely to put on a trolley in order to move. These arm jacks have helped me finish jobs that used to take at least two persons, by myself, saved a lot of time and effort. Very stable in action and easy to operate. Super satisfied with overall quality, especially at the price, strongly recommended.

It's not perfect, but it's the best that I could find for my needs
I needed to find some low-profile jacks to lift up the washer to adjust the feet and to add extra pads under them. The washer is simply too heavy and I can't do it by myself, especially given the tight working area of the laundry room with the dryer right next to the washer. I could not find any jacks that were low enough to slide under the washer, but these did the trick. The only thing I don't like about them if the release mechanism. It's not a pneumatic jack that slowly releases air out. It's basically a grip mechanism that eats into the bar to hold itself. Think of how a person wears ropes around their legs to help them climb a tall tree: it's friction-based. Similarly, you can't easily lower these because you have to press the top lever hard enough to release the friction grip. When you can overcome that part, the whole thing sort of just drops with no control. I wouldn't use a pair of these on anything heavier than a washer or refrigerator, due to the difficulty in getting them to release and due to the fact that when you do release them, they basically go into freefall and essentially drop whatever they were supporting.

Good price for a heavy duty use and very easy to operate!!
I install wood plank walls which can run up to 9' long. The lower I get; the more back breaking it is. These extra hands eliminate the need for assistance of helpers when available and no need to brace them with pieces of wood (a time-consuming process) while I nail it in place. They're so easy to use, just put them in place where you want them, one hand crank to lift and one push of the release button to lower the arm. They're heavy duty enough to keep the plank in place while I gram the nail gun to secure it. Love them!!

Nom satisfaite
