Have had for a year. Works well but the extension tubes loosen up while vacuuming even though I have tightened as much as possible. Even so, I like it, it works for me. Precise service was very helpful when I clogged the hose and it wouldn't run. A safety feature to prevent motor burn out. Just had to wait about half an hour for it to reset itself.

Vacuum has better suction than my beloved Hoover that has a worn out hose. Biggest drawback is the small disposable bag. My Hoover bag is twice the size. Also, the wand doesn't expand like my Hoover and the vacuum itself isn't as substantial as my Hoover; however, it is lighter weight. I took the wand attachment and angled tip from my Hoover and attached to the Oreck so I'm a little happier. For the money and the suction, I would purchase this vacuum again.

Truthfully when I purchased this I didn't expect it to work as well as it does. The brush removes the dog hair from the car seats as advertised.The suction is every bit as good as the other Oreck XLs that I purchased in the past. Oh yeah, the XL that this was supposed to replace was revived with a good cleaning, reset and an bag change. So now I have two really good vacuums. One for 'good' jobs and one for 'nasty dirty' jobs.

This is a great hand-held vacuum. Some earlier reviews mention the shoulder strap hardware breaking. Oreck must have redesigned the strap on this model. A nylon strap anchors in slots in the body of the vacuum. Not much to break. This unit is very light and easy to use, but a small vacuum has its limitations. Bags need replacement when they are 50% - 70% full as air flow diminishes. Some reviews mention the strong jet of air exiting the rear of the vacuum, and this is true. But I suspect that a small body does not provide much space to baffle the exhaust without impacting air flow. This vacuum won't replace a larger upright or canister model, but it gives you a light vacuum for dusting high or otherwise hard to reach areas. One problem we had: the brush on the dusting head simply fell out of its housing. In fact, I saw no evidence that it ever was attached. A few drops of glue took care of this, but better quality control is in order.

I love this canister vacuum! It's the perfect size for any area of the house or car. The suction is amazing, as long as you empty the bag as soon as it's full. I just cleaned out my car, and it went so fast because I didn't have to keep going over the same areas over and over.This is the BEST canister vacuum I've ever had. I highly recommend it if you want a quality vacuum that's easy to carry, small and light, this is the one! I have a small zipper top bag that I keep all of my attachments in. It's small and light, not a hassle to keep close by. I have a bad back and other health issues, so having this lightweight canister is great! I'd give it 5 stars if it had a way to hold at least a couple of often used attachments onboard. Buy it!!

Exact dupe of what I already had was exactly what I wanted and needed. I like the uprights but I really love the o/f canister vaccys and Oreck is the word in Vaccys right behind Hoover and now Samsung. But they are too big for my small 2 BR house. This one fiys easily beside my computer desk and the hose sits right beside my kitchen cabinet beside the unit itself. A swell deal and warranty and a great low price- Amazon has done it again, folks!
