SAMSUNGMZVLW256HEHP PM961 256GB M.2 NVMe PCIe Internal SSD - OEM

I have had a total nightmare getting this device 'bootable' on my Z170 motherboard from ASRock - but I have just sorted it, finally, today. The issue is that, despite being a Samsung device these are, for some reason, NOT supported by Samsung's cloning software. After a considerable amount of faffing around, I have had to buy Acronis (£35!) which did the job, though again not without a bit of faffing around.That said the quoted read/write speeds are exceeded and the random I/O rates are massively higher, which is more the type of access that the OS drive gets. So, I will be buying two more of these, to populate the other two m.2 slots on my motherboard and setting them in a RAID 5 configuration, which will give me security and huge bandwidth - after (I fully expect) a lot more faffing around...

Write speeds as advertised of 1150mb/s. Read speeds well over 3000mb/s. Much better than the Intel 600P card. On this occasion was used in a hackintosh with amazing results

After using this for a while, I have never achieved the rated speeds. I have tried different lanes but no difference.I would say you would be better off getting an evo series instead of this.I cannot recommend this product.

As advertised it fits my laptop well and works great. Recommended.

I've been using this for a while now and it seems to be working fine. I did have to reinstall my OS as it was not prebuilt into it but otherwise it's great.
