I just realized it sounds like AI… anyway great boot
AMAZING BOOTS! I’ve had these for three years with nothing but comfort and surprisingly waterproof. Even after all this time my toes have stayed dry, once your in water for awhile it feels like there’s water in with your feet but once you take your boots off the insides completely dry. They looks real good once broken in, takes scrapes fine and the tread has barely deteriorated. In one of my pictures there’s some white on the side, not mold but it’s salt from last winter that stained a little bit, part of being midwestern. If you’d like a knot that will hold up and keep the top tight to keep water out I recommend what I use. Take the right behind the boot so it comes out on the left and vice versa, after that keep it tight as possible and tie a square knot and tuck the ends of the lace between the frame and tongue of the boot

Really great quality, for a really low price.
I am a UPS driver. I walk 20,000 to 25,000 steps per day. It is really hard to find shoes that can survive the abuse my job puts on them. I recently decided to switch from normal walking shoes to boots because I have bad ankles. I am always scared to spend too much on shoes, because I have never found any shoe, at any price, that lasted more than six months. The last pair of boots I had were twice the price of these ones, and the entire sole peeled off after 3 weeks, but these had good reviews, and were very reasonably priced, so I decided to give them a go. (The dark brown ones). Straight out of the box they were probably the most comfortable pair of boots I have ever owned. I thought I was going to have to break them in for a while, but that was no problem. Also, the ankle support is superb. After a month, or two, each shoe started to show a small gap between the sole and the shoe near the ball of my foot. But I put a tiny bit of shoe glue in there, and it hasn't been a problem again. Right now, I have been wearing them every day for 3 months (or at least 1.3 Million steps), and they seem like they will probably make it another 3, at least. That's probably about as much as you can reasonably ask for boots that were under $70. One other note: they are supposed to be waterproof, but I haven't really had a chance to test that out here through the bone-dry, Salt Lake City summer months. But if they last into the winter, I will give an update on that. Update: The total durability wound up being about 7-8 months, or about 3 million steps. And, even at seven months they were still waterproof. They could have probably gone another month even, but the soles were getting pretty thin, and I decided to get a new pair for winter. I ended up getting the dark black this time, which seems to hold up better in terms of appearance. They were not as comfortable, out of the box, as the dark brown ones were, but still pretty comfortable, and broke in quickly. Also, whereas the brown ones seemed very breathable, and cool; the black ones seem to be much warmer, so they work out better for the cold weather, and snow.

READ THE DESCRIPTION, IF YOU HAVE SKINNY FEET, GO A SIZE DOWN
My only real gripe is partially my own fault for not reading the description in its entirety down to the VERY LAST LINE. It clear as day says that if you have skinny/narrow feet that you should order a size down for a better fit. If I had read that I would have gotten a 12 instead of my usual 13. Even still after lacing they still fit decently enough to keep. Even with that, pretty comfortable even before break-in. Laces are easy, ankle support is good, nice texture, color and look pretty decent on the outside. Quality is pretty ideal for the price point. Can’t get a whole lot cheaper, but they could be way less comfortable. No input on durability yet, but the build seems nice, doesn’t feel cheap. I’m on my feet 12-14 hours a day and travel 5+ miles any given day so I’ll update my review after some time has passed.

My New Go-To All Around Boot
These held up well with daily use as I walk to work each day, definitely waterproof as advertised too. Lacing on and off is easy the way the laces are and they sinch up nicely, though I normally like service zipper types, these are just as fine and slip on/off np. Really like the look and comfort, supportive as well compared to others I have bought here. Grip is pretty good but not a vibram, they are now my full time hiking boot and still look good 9 months later with moderate use.

Amazing, comfortable boots! Do run a little large so when I buy again, I’ll be buying a half size down. But seriously very good quality!

Helps with my bad stride
Buying shoes is a struggle. Finding a product and your size is a problem. Online is hit or miss. The Free Soldier hit this one out of the park. Comfortable, light and a great fit for mowing and yard work. And quickly they have become my everyday shoe. Tried many "walking" and "running" shoes to address a supination stride issue and still get a sore hamstring muscle. Not so with these: shopping, chasing the grandkids around the yard, etc and no pain. A great value for the price.

Light weight and comfortable
This is my second pair, my first pair was bought about 2 1/2 -3 yrs ago. Boots is about the only thing I wear and these are super comfortable. I after all that time and doing a lot outside getting them muddy and soaked they still kept going. It was about 3 months ago I noticed there was a tear starting at the sole at the inside of my left boot. I highly recommend this boots. I wish they made them with a safety toe (steal or composite) I would get them for work too. For the price it’s a great boot!
