AACL 3D Curved Tempered Glass for Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra Screen Protector

This was the second screen protector that I tried for my Samsung S22 Ultra. I could not get the fingerprint reader to work with the first so after 3 days trying, I returned it and purchased this one, primarily based on 55% 5 star ratings vs. 18% 1 star ratings. I was able to get the fingerprint reader to function at a highly satisfactory level. However, it would not work immediately after installing the screen protector. Following the install, there were no bubbles in the fingerprint area but it did have some small areas that had a grayish haze. The next day the haze was gone and the fingerprint area was uniformly black. At that point I was able to register fingerprints with no difficulty. So far I have not had any problems using the fingerprint reader for access. The ONLY reason I knocked off one star on the fingerprint reader is because the reader is SLIGHTLY less sensitive than the original screen, requiring slightly greater pressure to activate. The alignment tray greatly helps with the installation. It accurately fits the phone snapping into place. The only minor issue is the tray design is a little tight at the top of the phone when you start to install the screen protector. It is necessary to push the top of the screen protector under the top of the tray to get the proper vertical alignment. This takes more force than necessary and runs the risk of getting fingerprints or dirt on the backside of the protector. Push firmly from the bottom end. Once the protector is pushed into the top of the tray, it drops easily and accurately into place. If the protector is not firmly pushed into the top of the tray it catches on the bottom of the tray and does not adhere to the phone so it is easy to lift, push and drop into place. Minus one installation star for having to push the protector into the alignment tray. The screen protector seems slightly more reflective and shows more smudges than the original screen but this protector functions exceptionally well on the Samsung S22 Ultra.

Samsung S23 Ultra. Good thing they send 3. First install left what looked like some haze under fingerprint. I followed instructions. Had to press very hard to re-register fingerprints. Wasn't satisfied. I finally pulled the screen protector off and did it again. Second install did exactly same steps. Worked like a charm. Fingerprints registered with little effort and all apps open easily. Leaving 5 stars because of the value and quantity of 3 sent with this product. Finally finding a glass screen protector that works on the curved screen is a huge bonus.

I've tried multiple screen protectors for my Galaxy S22 Ultra and it is hard to fine the perfect balance. This screen protector, is not even close. It has too many negatives and not many positives. I will start with the positives first. Pros: -I like that it's a hard shell screen protector and I don't have to apply liquid adhesive like some of the other brands. -Easy to apply. That's about it for the positives. Now the negatives. Cons: -The finger scan simple doesn't work as promised. I can get is to register my finger about 5% of the time. I've followed instructions and have rescaned my finger prints multiple times. I have turned on the touch sensitive feature and still have these issues. I also wipe down my screen and it still doesn't register. It is too much of a pain in the ass to deal with and this experience alone makes this product worthless. I should also mention, I haven't ever had issues like this with any other screen protector yet. -I've used the product about a few days before I started noticing a rainbow effect in the middle of the screen. It's not largely noticeable, however, it's there. I'm guessing it's not completely sitting flush on the screen despite being very careful when applying. -About a week in I am now noticing dust is getting under the screen near the camera some how. The screen protector seems to appear perfectly flush, yet dust is stiff getting in. -The hole for the finger scan is hidious. What's the point of it if it doesn't even work? -The screen glare/fog is also hideous. Surpringly it would actually look much better if it matched the finger scan across the whole screen. Honestly there's more minor negatives I could talk about, but I feel like the ones I listed alone justify a 1 (or even zero) star review.

Everything in the boxes was as advertised. The process was well explained with instructions. My only conplaint is that the screen protector did not fully adhere to the fingerprint area and air pocket could not be pushed out with the applicator. so I can't use my fingerprint method. The glass is of high quality. A few days later the fingerprint area seemed to have less of an adhesion issue. I tried to set up my fingerpring again and it worked this time with some more effort that previously to this screen protector. Maybe in time it will be even more responsive. I will keep an eye on it.

Sometimes you don't realize it when you have it so good. I bought this since it was the best rated one. when you search on Google. This comes up as the best one. that's why I bought it back in November and it took over 1 year and then there was a little crack. All other ones Crack after a few months. when I bought 1 again it was the armor shield temperd glass I thought to try something different. It was horrible. and then I realized how good I had it with this one I put it on today and it's flush on the phone. You'll realize if you used other Ines. You don't understand its so flush with phone. Once touch sensitivity is turned in you dint notice the glass. Typing us lighting fast scrolling whatever. Glass doesn't not hinder anything. And thumb print works fast. Other ones it will get stuck or not work. Overall great since flush with phone everything is smooth no delays from glass.

So just a disclaimer, I suck at installing screen protectors, I always mess it up. But with the easy installer I managed to get a perfect intallation first try! They include many wipes and stickers in case of a mess up. Fingerprint functionality works well, the phone lock can be a bit picky but whenever an app needs my fingerprint, it registers instantly, no problem. As for the durability, it is really good. I've had a few drops with my phone and no damage to my screen or screen protector. Now my first time I wanted to test it so I took a glass breaker and hit the phone with it, and glad to say the screen protector does its job well, the damage was only done to the protector itself and not the screen.

Great screen protector, but fingerprint setup was tricky Installation is pretty straightforward—just take your time and follow the instructions carefully. Once it’s on, it sticks to the screen extremely well. I actually tested this by trying to remove it, and I had to put some effort into getting it off, so that’s definitely a plus. The protector feels great under your finger, and your finger glides across the screen with ease. It also looks really good. I haven’t noticed any discoloration, haziness, or dulling of the display, which is another big win. My only real issue was the fingerprint scanner. Getting my thumb registered was surprisingly tricky, even using the recommended settings. It took about five attempts before I finally got it registered. (Making the your finger or thumb a little wet seems to help) Once I did, though, I tested it several times and it seems to read my fingerprint reliably. Overall, I’m very happy with it. Easy installation, strong adhesion, smooth feel, and excellent screen clarity. The fingerprint setup took some patience, but once I got it working, it hasn’t been an issue.

My son left his phone on the hood of a friend's truck. The truck took off and my son realized what he did. We were able to find it laying on a long off ramp using life 360 to track it. As I was going to pick it up a bunch of cars exited the highway, several running it over. I figured it was toast at the point. Picked it up and the screen protector was completely shattered. Hit the side button and I could see the phone still worked. Took it home and removed the shattered glass protector and the case. The phone didn't have a scratch on it and worked fine. This glass screen protector along with the camera protector and impact resistant case, saved the phone from multiple cars running over it at about 45mph. Luckily the screen protector came in a 2 pack so I was able to install another one right away. The camera protector was fine. Installation is by far easier than any protector I've ever used. Just make sure the screen is very clean and bam, it lays down on its own sealing itself to the glass. Both times were flawless Installations. Not a single imperfection. Highly recommend for impact protection and camera protection. It is also crystal clear. My only regret is I didn't get a video of it being run over in traffic or a pic afterwards.

Anyone who says anything about fingerprint scanner not working eather doesnt know how to read or is just dumb works mint as long as you fallow guide 5 outa 5

This is a screen protector that can be used with fingerprint scanner. Is fiddly to get scanner compatible even with the video. Had to waste 1 screen as could not get it to work as glue came with glitches in scanner area. Also this is not glass as advertised, disappointing as plastic is difficult to keep clean.

Very easy to install, got it on with no struggle. Gives you 3 for the price, worth it.
