The bit and screws they provide were not the same type or size as the ones already on my Jetta. I had to go out and spend $30 dollars on a set of OEM tools just to remove my current MAF sensor. When I put the new in, it ran no different than the one I had before.

Saved quite a bit of $$, as opposed to buying local. Works great! I have over 200K miles on my VW TDI. It cleared up several issues with my car. Much faster starting, smoother idle, better MPG, and now my Cruise Control works again!

It might be better than oem CORRECTION: THIS PART LISTED BY AMAZON AS A PART THAT FITS MY CAR, HOWEVER AFTER WEEKS OF WEIRD ENGINE PROMBLEMS AFTER INSTALL, I DOUBLE CHECKED THE DEPHI CATALOG AND IT STATES THAT THIS PART IS FOR AUDI/VW/PORSCHE NOT BMW!!! DO YOUR DUE DILIGENCE SELLER!!! NO STARS FOR YOU!

Made in China, but I guess most things are these days. A direct replacement for the existing unit.

finally passed smog don't buy anything other than this its worth your money, i bought one from auto zone the diode wasn't ever their complete rip off. But thats what i get for buying from their in the first place.
