Takeya Classic Glass Water Bottle with Silicone Sleeve, Snow/Cobalt, 16-Ounce

Going reusable, going all glass - no plastics - this is a great little sibling to the larger 22oz.. Great size for my son's school backpack. Really strong glass - read: tough! The sleeve does great at protecting, making it non-slip and the loop is very handy for carrying. Solid cap design - never leaks - just a couple twists to remove. Highly recommend.

I have been looking for a glass water bottle for quite some time, but was hesitant due to the break-ability of glass. A friend who had the 22 oz version of this bottle said she had dropped hers on a concrete sidewalk, and it didn't even sustain any damage! So, I bought a 16 oz one. I've had it for a few weeks now, and it's the best. The cap is easy to get on and off, and the small size is convenient on-the-go to help me keep hydrated. The silicon doesn't seem to gather dust and it's very easy to clean.

The covering on the glass feels sticky and is a little uncomfortable to drink from. A lot of work to clean and screw top is where your lips go so feels strange. Not worth money

This is a nice glass water bottle. I like the lid, it's is heavy enough to spin if you give it a good flick when opening or closing. The handle drove me nuts, so I cut it off with a hot knife. It's a solid hard plastic. When drinking, the handle would spin down and catch on my chin. It also had to be moved to fit in my refrigerator water dispenser. While I was cutting off the handle, I slid the silicone cover halfway down to move it out of the way. I didn't take it off, but I could have if I wanted to. The materials it's made with look heavy duty and classy.

I love this bottle. It's sturdy (not too tall and thin that it can be easily turned over), and is easy to carry around. No leaking whatsoever, and I've dropped it a few times to no negative consequences. The blue is less teal, as is shown above, and more Duke blue.

This is a great water bottle. I've been looking for a glass one for awhile. I have this thing about being able to see what's in my bottle that I'm drinking from, so the metal ones didn't work. The sleeve on the bottle makes it easy to grip and the top of the bottle has a handle which helps when I've got a hand full of other items. It's easy to clean without having to take the sleeve off. Now I feel better about not using so many plastic water bottles. It's more economical and more environmentally sound.

My wife and I love these bottles. We've just started making our own juices, and these bottles are perfect for carrying freshly made juices. They are easy to clean--just put them in the dishwasher on the top rack, and they come out clean and sanitized. Due to their glass construction, the bottles don't absorb any odors or flavors. The silicone sleeve really add to their durability. We would recommend highly.

I love this brand and have bought many of their products. I was a little apprehensive at first in carrying a glass water bottle for the two reasons that it could break and that it would be really heavy to carry, but neither has been the case. The sleeve helps ward off bottle damage and the weight is not bad. It took a few carries to get used to it not being as light as a plastic bottle, but it's nothing overbearing. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because it can difficult to clean the inside of the bottle and getting the sleeve off is a chore.
