In build quality, how does it compare to lenco model af-25 electrode holder 250 amp, item# 01030? i don't need more than 200 amps. thanks

It worked fine for my application. I used one on my Lincoln Idealarc 250 and my little 110 volt buzz box. They both work as well as the much more expensive Lincoln electrode holders.

Does it take the welding cable? Crimp on?

there is a large set screw that clamps down on the end of the cable. Mine works great.
