For a ten dollar flashlight it's pretty nice, I'll call it the Honda of flashlights.
This is a five star flashlight for what it is when used with an 18650 battery. Don't know run times "sorry". I've got the Olight SR2 and this is brighter, even compared to turbo. The olight is a bigger circle while this one is a smaller circle. Their lightweight and don't feel the most durable but for ten bucks a piece, just take a little care. Their water resistant. No clip. First push is strobe and it's blinding if surprised by it. Second push is flashlight on and their claiming 450 lumens which i believe. It's that simple. Nice size. (really wish it had a clip though). Lanyard is already attached. I'm setting up EDC bags and needed more flashlights so as not to have to swap stuff. My Olight stays at home and so doe's my Leatherman Surge, so if I lose a bag I'm not out another two hundred bucks or so. I've got cheaper flashlights and multi tools (gerber supsension and ganzo multi tool) in my three bags. Decking out the Maxpedition and this is a nice add on. I can go on but long story short if you've got button cell 18650's then pick up this set if you don't want to spend the big bucks on a heavy duty little flashlight and this one is plenty bright, you'll be satified. Or else buy an Olight like I did, and then be upset when you get these that their brighter than my $75.00 flashlight LOL.

Great light, but the description is deceptive. Read last paragraph for more info.
This flashlight is one of the best balanced 'lights I own in terms of price, quality, and size.Price: I bought this pack of two LC40 handheld flashlights to replace a bulky 440 lumen light as my every day 'light. I'm glad that I did. For ~ eight dollars ($8.00), this little guy feels like a $60+ 'light.Quality: The first thought I had when I held the Anker Bolder LC40 was to simply admire it. They are solid metal. If you're anything like me, you tend to drop or bang things against had objects. I used the included wrist-strap because it was free and I haven't found anything to replace it yet that's comfortable. Don't let that fool you, the strap hasn't torn yet. Keep in mind that I have it dangling from my climbing carabiner 24 hours a day. There are no dents or scrapes that I can see.Size: Don't let its size fool you. The radius is slightly larger than a quarter, but it's bright enough for almost every task. It has three modes (bright, not as bright, and strobe). Most of the time I keep it on the not as bright simply because there is such of a thing as too bright of a flashlight. It illuminates the entire driveway and is perfect for trying to find which key you need for a particular door and where the keyhole is located in the dark.My only gripe (and it's a big one) is that when I purchased the pack of two, the details stated that they are brand new, never before opened. And coming from a company that I've bought from half a dozen times or so in the past, I trusted them. However, when they arrived at my door and I went to go put the three AAA batteries in, I noticed one of them had battery acid all over the battery chamber even though both 'lights were still in their "original" seal. That is clearly NOT a new item... So, I filed a complaint to get it replaced and they sent me a brand new one and it arrived within the same week. This one is new because it has that smell to it and the screw cap is still greased.Maybe I'm just unlucky.

I like this LC40 AAA/18650 a lot, it seems a very good deal
I am a flashlight guy, the functionality of this unit and and current price of the two pack, hit a home home in my ball park. I ordered another two pack just now. I use 18650 batteries. On AAA, I understand that the performance of this light is a bit weak. With an 18650 I have no doubt it puts out 400 lumens.I like that the beam is fixed, no sliding parts to worry about. The light is a slightly a warm white, and easy on the eyes. The 400 lumens are not too bright to use as a work light. I did run a test with a 2200 mha 18560 and got two hours of full brightness, warm case, light output. After a total of five hours it was still throwing some fairly bright light but the case was no longer warm, indicating reduced output. The only down side is that the 18650 battery fits loosely in this thing. The springs seem to keep the 18650 from rattling around inside the loose fitting barrel. I cut a paper plate into a rectangle and wrapped it around the battery to keep it secured in place, in case I drop this thing. I'm looking into finding/adapting a plastic sleeve as a more permanent solution. I know, a lot of bother, but I really like this light otherwise. My other 'tactical' lights are too bright for most every day use. The 400 lumens is just right for me.These have spring contacts so they will work with both flat top and button top 18650s.-1 star for no 18650 sleeve. Other than that, I recommend this to anyone who wants to own an 18650 battery powered light.Edit added: These sleeves fit well in the barrel of this light. I have a Panasonic flat top 18650 that fits a little loose inside this sleeve. My Victagen button top batteries fit a bit more snug. Either way I no longer about dropping the light and having the battery losing contact with the springs.https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01LC822U4/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Like all Anker products, well-made and works without a flaw
I'm somewhat of a flashlight nerd. I like bright lights that are small and also high intensity lights that will have outputs equal to car headlights. This one is a perfect LED torchlight that gets very bright. Lots of advantages. It small. It's compact. It uses AAA batteries so you don't have to recharge. If it goes dim you can simply put in new batteries. It also has the option of rechargeable useAnd, once charged the battery works for quite a bit of time. I use it to take my dogs out for a walk. The batteries on the brightest light seem to be good for the 3 to 4 hours is describedThe dispersion is excellent. And it is brighter than you will need.Short of an extremely expensive high intensity multi-battery light, this one is perfect.
