I can make my own ice without getting wet!
Okay, I know there's a joke that goes something like, Q. "Do you know why they don't serve ice in (insert country)?" A. "Because the person who had the recipe died."It's a joke because there's nothing to making ice, right? Wrong!I felt so triumphant when I started making ice with this tray.I sit in a rolling chair to work in the kitchen. Trying to carry a full ice tray from the sink to the freezer as I push along with my feet (which is a jerky process) always resulted in half-filled trays and a wet floor. The cover on this tray helps prevent spills. It also keeps the ice from picking up unwanted flavors. To remove the ice, I place it half way into a gallon freezer bag and poke out each cube from behind. Sometimes the cells turn inside out, which is no problem with silicone, because they pop right back. The cubes are a nice size and fit through the neck of my water bottle, and it makes enough to keep up with my needs. I usually make one batch in the morning and one at night.

Too small and melt too fast.
When twisting out they pop everywhere.

RV Dometic Freezer Solution
We want ice in the RV. Standard trays take up too much space and are sized so that you have to put them in the long way - parallel to the door - and use an entire shelf. These can be used in our dometic at right angles to the door and they fit great. Easily stackable with their lids (just be careful as you put them in fridge, they are flexible). We had another version where the cubes were separated by dividers, but the bottom was flat. This version, with more individualized sections, is MUCH easier to use and get the ice out. Love these.

Great for freezing pesto!
I buy pesto from Costco and it is more than the 2 of us can use at once. So, I pour it into this freezer container and pop them out into a Ziplock bag when they are frozen.

Very small
Cubes are easy to remove but the tray is much smaller than I thought it would be and the cubes are tiny. Also, the lid just sits on top and is not secure. Good for the price and I like it enough to buy a few more.

Good value but lid could sit tighter.
I read reviews that said the tray size made small ice cubes and they were spot on. This works for us. The only issue seems to be that once you open the lid to get ice cubes out the first time, the lid doesn’t go back on tight if you still have some ice cubes left. We’re using a rubber band since we don’t want to throw out all the unused cubes each time.

Seemed good at first, but began to make ice cubes taste funny
At first, this seemed great. The cubes were very easy to remove and the silicone was firm enough to get it to the freezer without spilling water. However, eventually the ice cubes from this tray started tasting strange, I’m not sure how to explain it. I tried removing the cubes and freezing different water several times and the cubes just tasted weird, but the cubes in my standard, hard plastic tray never had this issue at the same time using the same water, so I just ended up throwing this one away.

Ice cubes very easy to remove
I was tired of fighting to get out ice cubes out of my old trays, so bought this one made of silicone. So very easy to pop out the ice cubes now, wish it was larger but I didn’t look at the size of the tray which was plainly listed in description. I just need to get a couple more, I really like the smaller size of cubes and ease of removal.
