I understand the author a lot. My wife is in the same shoes right now it so difficult for her. Her family do not talk to her including my dad who's also a witness. I read this book to look at others same issue they gone through. To get some comfort. Good book I suggest for anyone who is a JW or JW or getting to know JWs

I chose to buy this book as I thought it would help me, as I also left a strict religion that I had grown up in. Lindy's journey is an amazing one and I am in awe of what she has achieved in life. I couldn't put the book down, as I was eager to know what happened in each chapter.
