Belt Worked Great - Lubrication Tips - Kenmore 70 Series Electric Dryer
341241 OEM 92-1/4" Dryer drum belt works great on Kenmore Series 70 Model 110.60212990(Do-Over second attempt with a new OEM belt - same belt from different vendor).------B.L.U.F. (Bottom Line Up Front) - To reduce the likelihood of a "DO-OVER" and premature BELT FAILURE, you may want to do some minor lubrication on some of the dryer drum components prior to installing the belt and PREVENT THE DRUM SYSTEM FROM BINDING.This preventative maintenance would consist of:Spraying/wiping silicone on drum guide wheel tires, front and rear drum guide centering surfaces and door felt gaskets, and a little bit of 3-in-1 machine oil applied to the 2 each drum guide wheel center bearing/bushing/axles.-------Other info Below--------Neighbor's 15+ year old dryer belt snapped likely from motor still turning on belt with stalled drum from age, overloading with clothes, defective drum parts, or from something else somehow binding the drum up.--Initially, all components looked/tested good (dryer would heat up, door-switch tested good, motor ran freely when tested w/o a belt, and drum tire wheels were intact and spun freely).--With the first installation of a new OEM belt, the belt failed within a few days after installation. On disassembly, the new belt obviously snapped from the motor running against a stalled drum belt (broken area of belt was still below motor).Without the belt installed, the drum was hard to turn manually as if it were binding (likely on the front door centering felt).--All other previously tested components again tested good leading to suspicions of the front door and rear drum bearing surfaces were binding the drum (front door drum felts/metal guides and rear drum seal and metal partition raceway).--After disassembling the dryer to install the new belt, I decided to lubricate anything that might lead to the drum binding.--To reduce the likelihood of the drum binding, this time I lubed the 2 rubber drum guide tires with some spray silicone and their wheels center axle bushing/bearings with some lightweight (3 in 1 brand) machine oil.I also sprayed/wiped-on silicone on the front and rear drum seals and felt raceway guides on the machine's inner-rear stamped metal partition raceway and the dryer's front door drum guide and felt surfaces. I also spray/wiped-on silicon (with a rag) the drum's tire raceway/guide groove on the drum where the rubber guide wheels ride.--When Installing the front door panel and the drum, you will need another helper to steady the drum and center the front door and rear drum guides while routing the belt onto the drum body, installing the belt tensioner, and looping the belt onto the motor pulley(belt ribs engage against motor pulley grooves).--Once the drum door is installed:-Manually rotate the drum by hand to ensure all drum seals and felts are centered and not pinched and the drum tires are properly installed within the drum groove. Also ensure the belt is centered over the belt wear area to make sure it is aligned properly.Disclaimer--PERFORM OPERATIONS AT YOUR OWN RISK OR GET A QUALIFIED TECHNICIAN.--When lubricating, it is IMPORTANT:--ENSURE POWER IS OFF BEFORE PERFORMING MAINTENANCE AND MACHINE IS NOT IN OPERATION WHILE LUBRICATING.--FOLLOW MANUFACTURER'S DIRECTIONS AND REFER TO THEIR PRODUCT AND SAFETY INFORMATION.--WEAR PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT AS APPLICABLE.--DO NOT LUBRICATE ELECTRICAL PARTS WITH ANY INCOMPATIBLE LUBRICANT (i.e. FLAMMABLE or COULD CAUSE OTHER DAMAGE).--CLEAN OFF SURFACES NOT INTENDED TO BE LUBRICATED.--DO NOT APPLY SILICONE/OIL ON DRUM BELT OR SURFACES THE BELT RIDES ON (Belt Slippage will Occur).Hope this helps...

Fits a wide variety of domestically produced, drum type electric dryers
Seller is great. I emailed them a question about the belt and they responded completely to my question within 24 hrs! After watching a video on youtube about how to install the belt, I got started and it only took about half an hour total. Since you must temporarily remove the drum to fit the replacement belt, I recommend you take the time to at least vacuum the interior of the cabinet for accumulated dust and lint (fire prevention) , as well as lubricate the drum roller wheel axles,The belt was not expensive and I saved myself the cost of a service call. I was repairing and older Kenmore model dryer but this belt will apparently work on other models such as Frigiidare, Amana, etc.
