Elegant bag, solid build, but could use some minor design improvements
After 4 years, the handle on my targus backpack finally broke, and because I didn't like the front pocket design on it, decided to try another wheeed backpack. After reading a bunch of reviews on other wheeled backpacks, decided to give this one a try, although it looked a bit tall on the pictures. The bag arrived and the first impression is that it looks very "elegant." The backpack does feel light, but it looks well built. After carrying the backpack for a week and taking it on a couple of trips, I find myself comparing this bag to my older targus bag and here are the things that I wish were better in my new bag.The handle feels sturdy enough, but unlike my targus bag, the handle only has one position that it locks to, while the targus bag had 2 positions where you can lock the handle to. If you're a tall person, this is a perfect fit; my colleague who is just 5 feet tall said that she found the handle uncomfortable. A halfway point for the handle to lock would have been perfect.Something I definitely find weird: the flap on the back which covers the back straps. When you want to use the straps, you undo this flap, which zips all the way to the top of the backpack, and when unzipped, it kind of dangles all the way down, as you can see on the pics. To avoid the flap from hanging down, you can just of course, un-zip it half way through, or kind of adjust it to the straps so that it doesn't hang. This design is kind of weird and on my targus bag, this flap is half way through, so you don't even notice is there. The front pocket has some holders for pens, phone, etc, and this holder sits kind of high. This is an advantage if you quickly want to look for something, but becomes a disadvantage if something falls out of the compartments and now you have to go "deep fishing" to find the item. A zipper could have helped here to keep items from falling. The main compartment and middle compartment have two zippers, but strangely enough, the front pocket only has one zipper. I'm so used to my older backpack having two zippers, so I got used to closing the front pocket by grabbing the two zippers and closing the pocket with the zippers half way through. You realize having the one zipper is a disadvantage when you put your bag in the overhead compartment of a plane, and you realize you want to get something out of the front pocket, but the zipper is facing away from you. As they say, first world problem, but two zippers in the front pocket would have been consistent with the bag as the other two compartments have two zippers, not one.My biggest pet peeve is that the compartments fall forward. Once you put a laptop in, unless you close the bag halfway through, the laptop compartment will cause the other part of the bag to fall forward. I finally got used to just opening the bag half way through so that the bag has some sturdiness to it and the compartments don't fall forward, once my laptop is in. However, the advantage of this design is that the bag doesn't weight as much so if you're taking a European low cost carrier, you can fit in more this bag. What I love about the bag is that now for my short weekend trips, I don't have to have another smaller carry on bag; I can fit my clothes in this bag and all I take is one bag. The construction of the bag is very solid, but only time will tell if things start falling apart. As far as the bag fitting under an airplane seat---I flew on both, a 737 plane, and a so called Bombardier Regional Jet 900, which sits 1 person on one side, 2 on the other. Because the backpack is a bit long, it took a bit of effort to make it fit under the seat in the 737 plane, but once I got it down there, it fits ok, and had no problem taking it out. It also fitted under the seat of the bombardier jet, but I sat on the one seat side, so not sure how it does on the side with two seats.I have to say that this is the first time that I had 3 different people at the airport compliment me on the bag. They wanted to know the brand name as they thought the backpack looked very elegant.

This multipurpose travel bag won't let you down
I bought it for my upcoming spring break trip. This is the right size I was looking for and I am very satisfied. The aluminum handle can be easily hidden when not in use. It can also extend to a good distance for users to hold. There are lots of pockets for storage, including an inner padded sleeve for laptop. The other pockets are also great for me to organize different categories of my belongings. The wheels are well balanced and very smooth, I found it very easy to roll this luggage bag. Overall highly quality multipurpose travel bag!

Love its versatility
I bought this backpack for my 3 week Caribbean vacation. I loved the versatility of the carryon. I wore it as a backpack when I pulled my checked on luggage through the airport, and as a pullman once I had checked my suitcase. I just had to be sure that I didn't over pack it because of its many compartments. Loved it! Passengers around me had to check in their hand luggage, but I was not given a second look when I walked passed with mine. The other feature I liked, and which some of the reviewers hated, was the long handle. As a tall person, I can't tell you what a pain it is to be pulling along hand luggage with handles that seem to only reach my knees (most uncomfortable). The other feature, I found handy, was covering the wheels when you turned it into a backpack. That way your clothes were not dirtied by the wheels when you hoist the bag to your back. Tucking away the backpack straps when you wheeled it, allowed for them to remain clean. It also stopped you or others from tripping on the straps. The product served its purpose. Was it the best designed carryon? No, but the cost and the versatility of the wheeled backpack suited my needs.

Could have quality issues, but I love its functionality
The first bag I ordered had some loose stitching at a corner in the bottom, that I had to repair myself as I was already on the trip that I had ordered it for. As soon as I got back home I returned the bag via Amazon's guarantee and ordered a second one, as I quite liked the functionality of the bag. The replacement came and it had been clearly used by someone else before, as it was marked up, and had none of the tags. It too had a weird stitching thing going on. So I contacted Pennybuying the secondary Amazon seller who is selling these bags and let them know what was going on. They made me a fair offer if I wanted to keep the bag, but I really wanted a new one with no problems, so I returned that one too. Finally the third one arrived seemingly, so far at least, with no problems. So I can't say anything about quality issues with these bags, as I don't know how unusual my experience was. Other than the hassles of reboxing and returning all finally ended well. But it's a good middle sized bag for traveling light (I was able to carry enough for 2 weeks)- smaller than a regular small suitcase and bigger than a typical carry-on. Its ability to be both a backpack and a roller bag make it useful when you're in those out of the way places without smooth rolling surfaces.

Great rolling bag
I had it about few weeks. it work great. It is a little bit higher than other bags. but it still fit under Southwest chairs. good quality too. also it stands pretty well. I use it everyday and had it travel with me few times. the only thing is that it doesn't have strip for seating on top of traveling suitcase, but I put side strip to the back. it seat on top of suitcase well.
