Savio Livingponds Waterfall Filter F100

This is our second Savio Livingponds Waterfall Filter. The 1st one lasted a little over 8 years. Works good, cleared our pond water from brown to clear in 2 days.

well made and i replaced every 3-5yrs for my koi pond. Not sure because of Texas heat weather but have crack. I wished could last much longer. Other than that i love it.

The filters fill quickly and it's kinda a pain to keep rinsing them out. I would do something different next time. These require more maintenance than I had hoped for

I replaced my old Savio Waterfall Filter, which lasted 15 years before it started leaking from a big crack caused by pressure on the part connecting the filter to the pump hose as the ground shifted through the years. My former husband, who put in the first filter, actually did it kind of wrong, because it's really not intended to be buried in the ground, but to create a waterfall because of its height from the ground. I didn't figure that out until this project. It's obvious from the instructions that burying it is not the optimum use. But I expect it will last another 15 years, and the next filter will be just the weir above ground!

Product came with an instruction manual that must have gotten wet during packing and stored for a long time. Upon unpacking, the book disintegrated to compost like consistency. All other parts intact. Nylon bolts and warranty card no longer included. Vendor replied quickly to emailed and explained the changes

I ordered my Savio filter October 24,2015 and it delivered on the 28th !! I'm very happy with the service ! It's Excellent !! The filter is excellent quality! Thank you so much ! I should have my Koi in their new pond by the weekend !!!

works good except that the cover pulls loose i have to put weight on it inserts are too small need need something better to for what i paid it should not happen something needs to be done

Simple 1 gasket method of sealing the waterfall ledge to the body leaked from the start. After two years the waterfall ledge connecting points on the body cracked. I'm keeping but removing ledge, drilling and using plates to secure liner to body like other waterfall filters. Modifying interior to use something besides springflow (bioballs or K3) and adding a way to use an air pump to clean filter and backflow drain. It is an excellent start at a great filter.
