Cool features, still fails. Leaks a lot.
I was eager to try a different style of water bottle for my guinea pig because I’ve never had any luck with the standard gravity ball water bottles in regards to leaking and soiling bedding.Unfortunately, this water bottle did the same, with the added disservice of tipping sideways and spilling large amounts of water onto the floor. The included spring that secures the bottle to the cage is too flimsy and prone to slipping when the bottle is full. Because of the lid top that flips up easily, water pours everywhere. We only fill it halfway to avoid this problem. The other issue is the same as every other small animal bottle: it leaks badly. I clean my guinea pig’s cage once weekly and I hate that I’m always greeted with water logged soiled bedding under the waterer. The one perk that is also it’s demise as I wrote about above is the flip top lid. It was a very good idea. I like that I don’t have to remove the bottle from the cage to fill, just flip the top and pour in.I wish this bottle had been researched and tested a bit more. It has some ingenuitive qualities that would blow standard bottles out of the water if they didn’t fail while using. I really wish a better solution could be invented.

Bad customer service NO guarantee
I like this better than rent a coops red one. My piggies liked it better too. It started leaking a few weeks in due to plastic attachment not being snug enough of a fit most likely a defective piece. It happens so i contacted customer service and they completely ignored me. They answered with an ok and never cared to follow up or service the customer after several attempts on my end. Their product guarantee is a lie... Stick to rent a coop if u actually care about getting your money's worth on an item should it be defective. I tried this thinking should anything leak they at least put a guarantee but that guarantee is a lie. They will ignore your claims too.

Check that water flows before giving to pets!!!
Received defective product. Bought this before leaving town for 5 days for a funeral to make it easier for my house sitter to care for my pet rats. When I got back I asked her if she had to fill it to try to get an idea of how many days it can go between fills. She said she didn't, but the bottle was still completely full. I immediately removed it from the cage and attached their old small water bottle so I could see what the deal was with this one. I tried repeatedly to get water to come out by hand and could not get any water out. My rats were without water for 5 days. . . . Thankfully they are ok and have their small bottle back for now. I have reached out to customer service and will update once they respond. Just make sure to check that it works BEFORE giving it to your pets to use!*UPDATE* Support responded very quickly and while they were not able to get a replacement out quickly, but did issue a refund very quickly.

Don't buy for Guinea Pigs!
This bottle may not leak for other small animals, but it leaks constantly in my guinea pig cage. That being said, I didn't realize that guinea pigs are notorious for destroying water bottles on a regular basis. This was my last attempt at leak-proof bottles. The nice thing about the bottle is that once you install it, you can fill it from the top! I love the design of the bottle, but its just not working for Gary! I cut a Coke bottle and made a sleeve to collect the drippage at the bottom so his cage won't stay wet. Otherwise, I'm cleaning his cage twice a day.

Not Great for my Guinea Pigs
I have bought too many water bottles over the past month for my guinea pigs, searching for one that doesn't leave my cage soaked. I love how this bottle is easy to fill and holds a good bit of water. I have found, though, that it isn't the best for my guinea pigs. While it doesn't leak, my pigs like to press the nipple so the water comes flooding out. I notice they are able to catch some of the water, however I believe too much comes out at once too quickly for them to drink all of it, therefore essentially flooding my cage.I'm thinking this would be perfect for a larger small animal such as a rabbit.
