The media could not be loaded. After reading the great reviews, I ordered these to use on a holiday flying Ryanair where only a tiny bag was allowed. It was the lightest and smallest I could find and did not disappoint in terms of functionality and price point.I mainly use it for my fringe, but it’s also great for adding a few curls through the hair for some texture, or smoothing out the top layer while travelling.It’s ideal.There are a few nice details on the device as well, like a white indicator light and a cute diamanté on the hinge, as well as a lock to keep them closed when travelling.The only improvement would be the ability to vary the temperature, but for occasional use it does the job perfectly.**Update**: I actually use these every day now, in place of my usual straighteners as I have baby bangs (tiny little fringe!) and used to keep burning myself on my full size straighteners - no problem with these beauties!I honestly love them and hope this is helpful.

One of the best straighteners I've tried for shorter hair. Isn't bulky so I can easily take it with me travelling as it takes up very little space. Works pretty well considering how small it is and the cord is sufficiently long enough.

This is great for short hair. Heats up quickly and does a good job. I only wish the lead was longer.

I bought these to take with me on a short holiday abroad. I only took a carry-on so needed to pack as light as I could. I only use hair straighteners to curl a few pieces of hair to frame my face so I thought these would be perfect.They are small, lightweight, and they heat up really well. Just be careful when setting them down too soon if you don't have a heatproof mat with you as they do get very hot!They took up minimal space in my bag, and they did the job. Very pleased with these, I might even just use these at home instead of my usual full-size straighteners.

Bought to take away in hand luggage as a convenient way to smooth my hair and they seem perfect for that. Very compact, apart from the cord which is huge!Work ok to smooth my hair but my hair is straight and fine. Would be no use at all if you have curly or thicker hair
