The look and function I am going for
What I was looking for. Not easy to put on but definitely well worth it. It takes time and patience and the right tools.

Good product for the price!
The instructions were sufficient for someone that has experience with nuts and bolts. Everything you need minus the tools is included and you can install with everything in the kit as long as you are patient and careful. I had one hole that I messed up and the insert was a challenge. But that was me. It does look great on the Jeep! It is also very solid. The only reason I don't give it five stars is the fact that it will make hard top removal tedious and you have to use a frameless soft top.

Bulged and paint peeled within a year
Not impressed with the quality of this product. The tube bulged and the paint peeled within a year after installing.

Flawed- but lots of bang for the buck.
Its had to decide between 3 & 4 stars for this. Its a great product but:THE BAD:-the threadserts are a total A**whipping to install and the smittybilt tool (sole separately)will break on the second or third threadsert.-You basically ruin every piece of sheetmetal on your jeep drilling huge holes for the install. Once its on, its on for good.-Install should take 4-5 hours with a tool that didnt break and instructions that didnt totally suck but this took almost two full days and multiple trips to get new tools and missing hardware. The instructions are horrible at best and constantly reference "use appropriate hardware" but fail to ever mention even once what hardware goes to what portion of the install. The learning curve on this thing is vertical.-As an exoskeleton it seems odd that all points of contact are simple threadserts into ultra thin sheet metal and thats it. I can't possibly see how this thing would stand up during a roll over. All of that said:THE GOOD:-Its $995 delivered and you can't build one for 1/2 of that when you figure time etc...-its sturdy enough to climb on and looks great. As far as protection goes, its better than nothing but I'm not sure i'd trust it entirely in a heavy roll over.-All things considered and even knowing what I know now, I'd still buy it again so that's saying something.

All bolts rusted after 1 day!
Its ok. The directions suck, but it can be figured out. They have obviously made changes, but never updated the directions. But the most disappointing thing is after ONE night on my car (literally the day after I installed it) a few bolts were showing rust. Now about one month on my jeep all the bolt heads are rusted. If I had known this before I would have bought something else.

Good product but may not work with the sunrider soft top
I got this while it was 51% off so it was definitely worth the price. Install takes some time and i did it by myself but would be easier if you have a second person. I bought a nutsert installation tool instead of using the one they send. Definitely recommend getting a tool for this job. Hardware was upgraded but it still had the old style in the packaging and i was missing 2 of the new nutserts and bolts. The new hardware held up good but the two old style bolt heads are already rusting. Take your time and mock this up before you start to drill. Also you can remove the hard top with this but not your soft top due to the gussets in the front but it works for the setup I'm running and should work with a frameless top. The windshield brace seemed a bit out of square but everything went together ok. Overall I'm happy with the purchase.
