Spigen Tough Armor Designed for LG G6 Case (2017) / LG G6 Plus Case (2017) - Black

I am an absolute klutz when it comes to phones. I have dropped my phones so much that buying a strong, sturdy case is my priority. This case is an absolute legend and has protected my phone from nasty spills, drops, and the accidental toss and flop.Pros:- Durable and has lasted me a long time- The kickstand is great to just prop and watch. It is just as strong as the rest of the case, so you don't have to worry about it snapping- The case never cracked or shattered upon my clumsiness- Looks great and with all the added nicks and scratches, looks like a war-hardened veteran- Raised side bumpers have protected my phone from falling on the screenNeutral:- I have accidentally cracked the case due to forgetting how to remove my phone from it. The case itself still works fine, and the crack is only cosmetic in natureCons:- It does add heft to my phone, but I've gotten used to it. The only real problem is when it falls out of my hand and on to my face.I have no clue how I managed to do it, but I did shatter my screen. Due to physics, my phone flew off the countertop via headphone cable wire looping around the cabinet button handle and me walking away a few feet. The headphones and Button handle acted like a dang pulley system and chucked my phone pretty hard and the bumpers weren't enough as the phone fell on top of something big enough to touch the screen. Due to the sheer force (it slid a good foot and a half after landing) the tiny object it landed on was able to spiderweb my phone. The case is still fine though, and my phone still works fine. I just have to look through a web. No Pixel death so the cracks, while unfortunate, are mostly cosmetic.

It's a perfect fit and feels secure. The side buttons are responsive (maybe a bit too responsive, since I accidentally press them sometimes when I grab my phone, which ends up opening the camera) and they're not too recessed so dirt and crud doesn't build up in them. It's not too bulky and feels pretty good in your hand and in your pocket.The PC that makes up the back and sides is a little slick, but the flexible TPU gives you something to grip onto. It also has a small lip that protects the screen and keeps the screen elevated should it ever be screen-side down, but when you put on a tempered glass screen protector, the lip is pretty shallow, which dampens its original purpose (as I'm sure you've read in other reviews, this doesn't come with a screen protector, so you'll need to get one of those on your own if you so choose). If you put it in your lap, the PC is slick enough that the phone might slide off your lap, though. The slickness does make it easy to pull out of your pocket, unlike some old phone cases I've had with a completely flexible TPU outer cover.The back of the case has recesses deep enough to protect your camera and the fingerprint censor/main button, and it gives you a nice place to direct your finger right to the button. The description says the PC and the TPU are 2 separate layers, which they are, but they come already connected to each other in one piece when you open the box. I just felt I should mention that since it caught me a bit off guard.Besides the good, solid build, the feature that sets this apart from the other cases is the kickstand. The kickstand works wonderfully. It does feel it will break sometime down the road, but it works perfectly right now. And it works in both directions, so you can have your phone at a shallower or steeper angle, depending on how you want to view it, which I have in the pictures.My phone hasn't fallen yet, and I don't plan on doing any drop tests to test it out, so I can't speak on how it does in that respect, but it feels like it would do the job. Overall, I really like this phone case. For the price, the build, and the kickstand, it's a really good purchase and I'm very happy with it.

I've had this case on my LG G6 for nearly 2 years now. In that time, I've dropped my phone at least 8 times. HARD. The kind of drops that your phone should be shattered. Landing on hard ceramic tile floor, bouncing off the side of the car door & hitting concrete, catching the side corners, falling flat on its face on pavement, banging into hard surfaces etc. Yes, I'm clumsy. Which is why I need a case like this. The two layer construction protected my phone every single time. It has the cushioning rubber insert as well as a hard shell outer layer. I don't even have a screen protector on my phone because this case is designed in such a way I've never needed it. It has a beveled edge that comes up to form a thin lip over the screen edge so when you drop it on its face, the screen doesn't come in contact with the hard surface. And doesnt crack. That lip also allows you to lay the phone face down without getting scratches on the screen. After all the times I've dropped it ove 2 YEARS, the case only shows some surface scratches but my phone is 100% like new and undamaged. The case hasn't even cracked yet, just some light scratches which is great for how often I drop it!As for functionality of the phone in this case - I like it much better than Otterbox. It's a perfect fit for my g6. All the cutouts are in the right place and don't interfere with its operation or usage of the buttons & ports. It's got just enough weight & grip without being bulky. Without a case, the phone is so lightweight and slippery. It's very easy to put on. Within seconds. Doesn't obstruct the camera lens either. Some reviews complain about the kickstand. If ur buying this for the kickstand only, its not the best. The kickstand is a little wobbly and thin and the joint where it connects to the phone is flimsy. So the kickstand isn't a selling feature on this one. But I didnt buy this case for a kickstand. I bought this to protect my phone, which it does VERY WELL. I had a Spigen on my G4 too. Ive had such good results with Spigen, I bought their case for my husband's iphone7 and he has been protected from drops now too. It will be the best $20 you spend to protect your phone! I just wish it came in more colors.

I love this case. It's not bulky yet it provides good protection. It comes with a kickstand to rest the phone on the table if you are watching a movie etc.The case is slim enough that I can wirelessly charge my LG G6 with the case on. It looks slick and provides a surprising amount of protection. This is my second Spigen case (my old phone had one too) and I don't see myself switching to any other case in the future. 5 stars in my book.

Textured back makes it easier to hold the phone (less nervous about it slipping out of my hand) and the case fits my LG G6 perfectly without blocking the camera or headphone/cable jacks.The kickstand seems stable (at least, on the flat level surfaces I've used it on) and its placement off-centre on the back means that the phone can be placed at two different angles (roughly 70 or 40 degrees) depending on which side of the phone is against the table.I previously had the same style of Spigen case (i.e. softer inside with hard shell) for my Nexus 5 and found that it provided a lot of protection for the size/weight/cost of the case, including surviving a large vertical drop followed by a tumble down a total of two flights of concrete stairs.The only problem the old case had was that the hard plastic eventually cracked and broke off near the volume rocker on the side of the phone, likely because of strain on the narrow section of plastic between the rocker and the screen when taking the case off and on. In addition to adding the kickstand, they appear to have fixed that issue with this product by making the area around the volume rocker entirely soft plastic rather than the hard outer shell.

Tengo que decir que aunque había oído hablar bien de esta marca me sorprendió,se acopla perfectamente al movil, aún no sufrido golpes con lo que no puedo valorar su resistencia pero la sensación es de muy buena calidad. Después de un par de meses no tiene ni un arañazo y el color sigue intacto, el color rosado le ha encantado a mi mujer, pensé que no le gustaría la funda por ser algo rugerizada pero la verdad es que le ha gustado. Ya que decides ocultar el diseño de un móvil precioso por tranquilidad por lo menos que sea una funda con personalidad,excelente relación calidad-precio.
