I've used these before, and Amazon had a better price than our local hardware store...plus they were delivered straight to our door...Thanks Amazon Prime!I like tremor hooks not only for safety during earthquakes, but also for the more likely occurrence of someone bumping a mirror or piece of artwork in passing, especially when rounding a corner. So much better than the old nail in the wall. They keep your wall items safe and secure on the wall, where they belong. Especially recommended for households with active children or pets...or wild party guests!So far, we've used them for artwork, mirrors, string lights and clocks.Super easy to install...Highly recommend!

I love these hooks, especially for irreplaceable items and picture frames in high traffic areas. My only complaint is they can’t be used with the longer nails the non tremor hooks secure with. Overall, I highly recommend them to anyone who needs to hang an item that can be easily bumped off a normal hook.

The hooks themselves look secure. But the nails very very short so they would pop right out in an earthquake.... Virtually no anchor at all. They also have huge bumpy heads that stick out awkwardly. No big deal, I thought, I'll just find some longer and flatter nails at Lowes or Ace Hardware. Nope! Even with help from the management at both places, we couldn't find any nails thin enough to go through the tiny tiny holes on the hooks. Eventually I just threw them all away. Completely useless.

A few weeks before the 7.1 earthquake hit our area, we had hung all of our painting and photos on these hangers. Nothing fell off of the walls during the earthquake. Very pleased with our purchase.

This was the only place where I could find packs with multiples of just the TREMOR type of hangars at a reasonable price. Most other offerings had just a few of the safety type, and the rest in the pack were ordinary ones. I use these to hang all my collectible plates

It's a two man job! Hung standard 5x7 and 8x10 photos in upper end picture frames. Had to use long flat tool to push in hook retainer and the other person used second long flat tool to direct loop onto hook. There was not enough room for my wife's small fingers to reach behind frame and next to impossible to see.The instructions state that nail must be in stud so as hold the advertised weight, the nail is not physically long enough to go through the sheet rock at the angle to reach the wood.

Works as expected. Only comment is the metal hooks look dirty, rusted, or oxidized.

Have now replaced all my normal hooks with these hooks. After we just had a 7.1 earthquake and some framed items fell to the floor, I'm not taking any more chances!!!!
