Cheaper at Amazon, works perfectly
This is a required companion to every ultraportable Latitude notebook. I bought two of these (home office and work office). The most important difference of this model from other similar replicators is two display ports, as compared to one in lower-priced model. It has 3 USB 2.0 ports on the left side and 2 USB 3.0 ports on the back, so it is best to order several extension cords too. Keep in mind USB 3.0 has a different pinout that supplies power and data - if you plug USB 2.0 cord into USB 3.0 port to connect a USB 3.0 device, you are not going to burn anything but do not expect the performance you hoped for.PRO:1. Works as expected, no installation required, all ports perform perfectly.2. Dell's website offers it for 169-199 dollars; why pay more for the same thing?CON:1. 130 W power adapter is big (although I powered it by mistake for a few weeks using as notebook 65W adapter - it did not complain or fail).

Great product.
It's really great not to have to pull out 10 cables out of your Precision Workstation. It works like a charm, and stays cool - never thought coolness will be a feature: I use a usb-c to hdmi adapter on a MacBook - hate it, it heats so much that the bluetooth mice adapters malfunction when attached to it.

Exactly what I needed for my Dell Precision Laptop M4700
I liked it so well that I bought a 2nd for a remote office. The E-Port mount was the most durable Laptop mount, offered by Dell. Dell reported that Hot Swapping was the main behavior that caused trouble. The computer is supposed to be Shut Down, Powered off, before it is Mounted-to or Dismounted-from, the E-Port docking station. The E-Port Dock has been phased out from Precision 7730 and newer. So, I am being careful to ensure the computer is not Hot (powered-on) when I Mount or Dismount the computer. No Hot-docking for this Laptop!(In Contrast, the new docks use a USB-C plug, which is easy to bump, and cause the laptop-socked port to become loose.)The Excellent design of the the E-Port has it located on the bottom of the computer. It has about a 3-inch wide port, with a stabilizing block in the center. The dock has a bar which can extend to to touch the computer-hinge edge, restricting movement, so providing a more stable contact-connection, in the E-Port.(I saw a lot of use of this dock, as an IT Support Technician, the past four years. It is a great piece of hardware.)

Works but does not exactly fit my laptop.
In general it does work but it's not the exact one for my 17" laptop and it fits oddly. I can't find the correct one anywhere else so I'm stuck. Had some issues with the original delivery getting lost but the seller made it right.

Great Product
The product works great. The only thing I do not like about the device is that it's footprint is a little large for the space that I have. I would recommend this product to anyone who wants the portability of a laptop for on the move and at the same time wants a traditional computing experience while at a desk.

Works well but am having trouble getting base to release from laptop
The replicator works flawlessly as it is intended to. The reason why I could not give this product 5 stars is because after a couple months it developed a problem where when you tried to release the laptop from the docking station, it would not release about 40% of the time. You have to play with the laptop and rock it a little on the replicator base. So far every time I've eventually been able to get my Dell laptop to release. But when you are in a hurry, and want to get going, this is not something you want to have to fool around with. I hope that the problem does not get worse where eventually I am not able to get the replicator base to release from the laptop.

Create your desktop solution to computing
Using on my Lattitude laptop. Works great, easy way to control all the cords and have a desktop solution for computer needs. I can now have my monitor, printers and other devices already plugged in and just plug in my laptop and I am ready to go with a huge screen and all my extras.
