OFF!Lamp/Lantern Refill 3 Units

If you live in an area where there are mosquitoes, the odds are you've fallen victim at least once to some false claim to provide you with an evening devoid of miserable itching while you and your loved ones are being used like a cheap all-you-can-eat buffet by a host of mosquitoes. Only to be once again disappointed as the swarms force you to retreat back into your house yet again.Then, if you're like me you've became a bit jaded, perhaps even cynical, when you see the some product once again claiming to keep the blood-sucking demons at bay. Most of them don't work, or work very poorly with a high price of a stench so great that even you don't want to enter the treated area.If you've just about given up on ever being able to use your backyard again in the summer. Don't abandon all hope just yet, I can honestly attest to the fact that these do work! Not only that, but they actually work as they claim they do. Which in this day and age somehow makes them seem like a miracle product!They do last four hours.They do keep mosquitoes away.They don't stink - except for a light scent of paper burning for the first few minutes after you light them.They do repel mosquitoes!Try them, you won't regret the purchase.Quite the opposite actually, you'll start enjoying being outside at night in the summer again!

Bought two of these lanterns during the summer of 2017 after we bought our house. Loved them! They worked very effectively. So what happens the following year? Off stops making it. WTFrick. I bought as many refills as I could get until the laws of supply & demand took over. Last summer, a 3-pack refill goes for 17 goddam dollars. Now the same unit goes for about $30. The seller can take these & show them where the sun don't shine. And screw Off! for pulling this crap. More plastic junk to go into our landfills.

We have one of the lanterns and Off! no longer sell these in stores any more (they have moved on to another style of lantern). So I was very happy to find these refill kits for the lantern we have. Each year we go to a lake cabin and, if not for this lantern, would be stuck inside the cabin all weekend because of the mosquitoes. The lantern with these refills makes it perfectly comfortable and bug free for us to be able to sit outside in the evenings. Plus it gives us some light on the porch too.

Regardless of what you may think, this is 1 box that has 3 candles & 3 Off pads in it. By 3 units they do not mean 3 boxes totaling 9 candles & 9 Off pads. From what I have gathered this is from an old version of the Off Lantern so they are no longer being made. Too bad because it works really well. Just not $40 for a box of refills well. :o\. Guess I'll have to try the new version of the Off Lantern.

Finally, we found something that works to repel mosquitoes outside...It works great. At first it takes a couple of minutes once you light the candle. But then, voila! Instant relief from mosquitoes! My only complaint is that the refills dont last that long. It states 4 hours. I would say more like 2-3. Once you get down to the bottom of the candle, its not as effective. However, it is paradise to sit outside without constantly swatting at mosquitoes and itching! Just order a few refills.

I originally bought the lanterns for these a while back because candles were not working on the southern mosquitoes around my backyard. They work exponentially better than the usual citronella candles. Mosquitoes will stay away if they are burning. My only problem is that they do not last very long (an hour, maybe two) and they are not cheap. They certainly do work, just be prepared to buy a lot of them.

Although these Mosquito refills are extremely effective against mosquitoes and other insects, there are expensive on Amazon.I plan to purchase more when they become cheaper.I have found them to be a much better option to insecticides which produce strong, foul-smelling scents what constrict my chest.
