Good sturdy lock

It took me a while to understand that eventually I had to shorten the internal part to adjust to the door thickness but it works perfectly for last 6 month.

This nightlatch is solid and perfect for those that are operating in a restricted area.First things first, this Yale nightlatch is a fingerprint magnet. Bright shiny Nickel means a fingerprint with every touch. The dimensions of this nightlatch is 58mm x 66mm when closed. The lock adds another 12mm.This is a solid lock, weighty too. It’s synonymous with the quality you would come to expect from Yale. BSI standards.You receive all the pieces you would expect, including a cylinder lock and 2 keys.The instructions tell you everything you need and if you follow them, fitting is actually straight forward, particularly if you have all the required equipment including the right sized drill bits and a 19mm chisel.Suitable for doors with a thickness of up to 57mm or 54mm where a door pull is fitted.Once fitted, it operates exactly as you would expect. Solid and you feel safe with it and operating it. Push the little latch downwards and it locks into its current position, whether extended or not.Not really much more to add. It’s a great little lock that is a fingerprint magnet.
