CRAFTSMANXCP HIGH CAPACITY BATTERY FOR C3 POWER TOOLS

Excellent OEM XCP High Capacity battery. Did purchase older model Craftsman Drill Driver which this one fits perfectly. Rear and sides have push activated lights to show battery capacity. The older drill driver had the side cutouts on the bottom where the lights should glow. Would not work, would on battery but not after insertion. Removed cell and looked inside compartment, found very thin foil covering both left right spots. Removed with razor knife, reinserted cell and voila, side batt power indicators now glow. Only negative is on ALL CRAFTSMAN PRODUCTS BEING SOLD! Sears is now officially bankrupt and closing stores everywhere. Warranty only honored at place of purchase (Amazon) or actual Sears store! Not Ace hardware who is selling Craftsman products. I do not believe any products of a company who is now bankrupt should be sold! Especially with ZERO warranty. Now and in the future, consider Craftsman tools and products like the original Black & Decker (disposable). Use them until they quit, then dispose in garbage can. Sears will not honor warranty from Amazon, this was before filing Chapter 7.

Unlike the substandard "look alike" Craftsman batteries that quickly loose their charge, this battery is the original OEM that works like you would expect.I purchased 2 so that I can use my Craftsman 19.2V set of power tools for a few more years before these batteries are no longer made.

So i bought these as a replacement after getting a generic brand that i sent back after the first use do to a cheap design. These have been amazing and they sure do last a long time and get used often. Looking forward to see how long they last.

This battery so far is wonderful for all my C3 tools. I use it daily on my 1/2 inch C3 impact and the charge will last all day will normal usage. My older batteries would last a couple of hours at best.

Plenty of power. Bought to replace old one that died. Hope it lasts a long time. I use it in my Craftsman drill/driver. This is bigger and heavier then the lower profile model. If you want lighter weight get the smaller one.

I had bought knockoff batteries before and was very disappointed with the performance. These are legit Craftsman batteries and live up to my expectations.

The battery died does not charge

The higher power in this battery allows the battery to operate my impact driver and saw longer than with my other Craftsman batteries. The extra power also allows my drill to use larger diameter wood bits more effectively. I like the fact that it operates in colder temperatures and has an indicator light to sow battery charge.
