Will I still be able to use a stylus for the touchscreen capability?

Yes, you can..I have hp envy series laptopwhich is touch screen too and I am relieved because now my screen is much better than it was before. So I would say if you have issues with your screen acting as a mirror.. this will solve that issue it doesn't increase your brightness, it just helps with visibility.

If used on a 1080 touch screen, does it affect the clarity much? Meaning, does it turn letters etc. fuzzy?

yes it does make them fuzzy. I didn't like the matte screen protector. the same company makes a clear screen protector that works really great though. I'm using that one on my HD touch screen computer now and really like it.

this is touted as an anti-glare matte, is it acceptable and will it hold up to touch screen usage?

I put the film on a boat's chartplotter that swings out to our exposed cockpit. Initially it worked great - the glare was really reduced. Felt pretty good about it through the end of the season. But, while checking on the boat after it was put up for the winter, the film had bubbled out badly and will have to be replaced next season. Well worth the small cost and effort but not the entire answer I was hoping for.

The screen reduces reflections from all sources. When I applied my to the screen on my laptop it made a huge difference with reflection of sunlight, interior lighting, and even dimmed night lighting.
