Hero Premium US to India Power Adapter Plug (Type D, Pack of 3, Grounded)

Bought two - ending a 3 week trip to Spain & they are compact & work great.

This adaptor was recommended for travel to Peru, which has several different types of electrical plugs in different parts of the country. It worked like a charm and is relatively compact, compared to other universal adaptors. I couldn't be happier and recommend it highly!!

I’m glad I bought another 2 pack that were different. This one would not fit the outlets in Barcelona, Spain. The quality is great.

This adapter worked EXACTLY as advertised. I traveled through England, France, Germany, Luxembourg and Belgium without a single problem. No blown fuses. I used it for my phone as well as CPAP machine. Worked on trains as well as in cafes and hotel rooms. If everything worked this well, I wouldn't know what cortisol was for. Perfect.

What genius designed this converter to market to US consumers? I suppose if you found one of your grandmother's old lamps you want to plug in, or some other item more than 60 years old it might work. Or if you cut off the grounding prong on your plug and cut down the wider polarized plug prongs it might work. This does not accept polarized plugs, which have one prong wider than the other so they can only be plugged in one way. Almost all electrical items produced for the US market since 1962 are mandated to have polarized plugs. I suppose you could use it for the USB ports but you will not be able to use it to plug in a standard US plug. Totally useless - I returned it and got a cheaper one (Hanycony) that has the correct configuration.

These adapters really helped out on our trip to Iceland. They were easy to bring with in the little bag that was provided. Once I understood how to work it, it was extremely easy to set up and plug in my phone charger. If I ever go out of the country again, I will be prepared!
