I've been sleeping on these for about a month now and have been sleeping very well. Memory foam is typically very expensive and these pillows were a fantastic deal at $48.99 and they're priced lower today. I was a little nervous about the "shredded" memory foam as I have no experience with it and honestly, I can't tell the difference between this shredded foam and my old regular mf pillow. I've been using memory foam for years now and I prefer it over down/down alternative. My old pillows were regular size so I really wanted king size pillows to fit my king bed. It does make a difference for me, my bed feels bigger now that I have more pillow real estate. These are thicker (roughly 6.5 inches) than my old pillow which I appreciate but it is quite thick for a pillow. If you've never had memory foam before, go to a store and feel it before you buy. It's a very different experience and definitely not for everyone. A few common things you should know about, and expect when, buying memory foam in general:- Memory foam is dense, firm, and heavy.- It gets firmer when it's cold and softer when it's hot. I live in New England so it's firmer in the winter and softer in the summer.- Memory foam is typically vacuum sealed so it will take a bit to expand. I usually leave memory foam out for a day or two before using it- Every memory foam product I've ever purchased (pillows, mattress toppers, etc) has had a slight chemical-ish smell at first. Some are worse than others but all memory foam has it so don't be surprised, it will go away. I did not find the scent of these pillow to be abnormally strong. Take off and wash the cover and let the pillow breathe. Again, I usually give it a day or two.Summary: I'm really glad I pulled the trigger and bought these pillows. They are a great price and what I expected of a memory foam product. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a king size memory foam pillow however, this is important, if you like softer, squishy, light, and/or flat pillows, these are not for you.

I cannot emphasize enough... FLUFF THESE PILLOWS WHEN YOU FIRST OPEN THEM! Hubby and I got a big laugh when we opened these vacuum-sealed pillows from their bag. They are rolled and compressed very tight in to a bag that resembles the size of a neck-roll pillow, and when you take them out and unroll them, they really resist decompression at first! We stared at the pillows in disbelief, thinking, "you've got to be kidding me!... They're flat as a pancake!" LOL! --- Grab the pillow, and start kneading it with your hands, grabbing with your fingers like a cat would knead on a scratching post! You'll feel and hear the fibers of the memory foam pieces letting loose of one another. As you continue to work the pillow, pick it up and give it some good jostles; really breaking it up on the inside. The process only takes 5 minutes or so. Once done, you never have to go through this process again {I guess unless you vacuum-seal the pillow again for some reason}. They go from only 3" thick, to an astounding 12", and then some!NOW THE REVIEW: We slept on our initial 2 pillows purchased for a few days, to really assess our rest. These pillows are, hands-down, THE best pillows I've ever laid my head upon in all of my 48 years! They are a very comfortable, soft cloud-like feel, but with an unparalleled level of support that does *not* flatten all night! I dont know how they've managed to combine a soft-cloud feel with very firm support, but this is it. They are heavier than the average pillow. Personally, I love them that way. They dont move, which means if you turn or move much, the pillow does not work itself away from you. These are not Poly-fil pillows, so NO, they do not "bounce back". Of course, that also means that they do not go flat!! The pillow does require a good fluff after use. I do this in the morning when I make the bed, and it's ready for my tired head at the end of the day... and might I add... my head is ready for IT! :)Since our initial purchase only a few weeks ago, we've already purchased an additional 5 pillows for our guest rooms, including a spare. These are heavy, high-quality pillows that I'd expect in a 5-star luxury hotel. LOVE them, and we are VERY happy with our purchase.UPDATE:I'm very surprised to see the negative experiences that others have posted since our purchase. I can only assume its a mix of "personal preference", or else a truly inconsistent product. WE continue to be very pleased with our pillows. They fluff, and regain their plush cloud-like shape, every morning since our purchase last December. If they ever had an unpleasant or chemical odor, I dont recall it. We've certainly never experienced any pain or dissatisfaction with our pillows. I'm sorry for anyone that purchased upon reading our review, only to be disappointed by a product not even remotely resembling our experience or description.

I have now purchased 6 of these pillows to date. These are really about 4.5 stars but I am not able rate them that way. Let's face it, no pillow is perfect, but these come close to being a "one size fits all" pillow option. The pillow have a very nice foam lined enclosure for the stuffing that has a zipper to allow you to adjust/customize the loft to suit your own individual needs. The outer cover/case is soft and luxurious. I have purchased pillows for 4 times the amount of these that were no were near as good. As an example, with other pillows when I adjusted the loft in them them became lumpy and inconsistent to the point that they no longer served their purpose, but because of the foam lined enclosure of this pillow this does not happen. I will state for those who are concerned with odor produced from foam pillows that I have not notice an aroma exuded from the pillows, but I did notice a kind of roasted peanut smell when I opened the pillow to remove the stuffing, but once rezipped did not smell it at all. After years of trying to replace a pillow that I purchased from a mattress store that went out of business to no avail since the store had the pillows produced specifically for them, this is the next best thing I have been able to come across in my many year search. If you are still reading this, let me also mention that I have had 2 spinal fusions with one being in my neck. So if you are reading this review and are considering purchasing these pillows I strongly suggest to give them a try.

These are the firmest pillows I've ever found. They are SOLID. As in, my head doesn't even make a dent in them. Which is exactly what I want in a pillow. I sleep on my side, and I need hard pillows that will support my top arm and leg so I don't wake up with horrible back pain. And so far they are holding up well. Time will tell of course, but so far they're performing better than any so called firm pillows I've had before.

Perfect middle ground between a too hard memory foam brick pillow and a too fluffy unsupportive pillow. I took out some of the stuffing to make it more to my liking. It went a little flat after a few months but I washed and dried it and it got all nice and fluffy again.

It took about a week to get used to the pillow but now I would be lost without it.

Got these pillows but I have more neck and shoulder pain. I'm finding my head being lifted up while sleeping instead of the pillow taking the shape and this is also happening to my husband!

Purchased this pillow as a gift for my significant other. He has tried every pillow out there, with little success. He recently purchased a My Pillow, and while he thought it was better then others he has tried it still wasn't "right". The pillow was a little flat from packaging, but we through it in the dryer for a few minutes and it puffed right up. He's been using it for a few days, and for the first time in a long time he is no longer waking up with headaches and is sleeping through the night! Would definitely recommend, and may have to purchase another so I dont have to steal his :)
