Good, not excellent
I've bought these quite a few times. They don't last very long because I dropped my phone on my tablets and then the small end that goes into the phone doesn't fit very tight anymore and it won't charge. All it takes is one little drop and then they're broken. I've never had any kind of cord break twist or do any of the nonsense that they advertise. They never say anything about the end of them or there's that little piece of aluminum that gets smashed and then it won't connect the phone to the charging. It's like they play dumb for years and years now. Always showing pictures of the part of the cable that supposedly gets twisted or some nonsense. But never the micro end the a part. I'm so glad they went to a bigger cable from now on in all these devices. So I'm still giving them five stars because it's not their fault that I drop them all the time. It has to do with the way they were created. And as long as my device is keep working I'll have to keep buying these cables. I'm not too smart Myself by now I could have bought many more devices if I just hadn't bought any more cables. But it took me a while to figure it all out. Yep broke one again today only had it out a week. I bought 10 of them in the last month and I'm going to have to buy another five today.

Bought them for a project, got the cheap cables I expected
For the price versus quality these are somewhat expensive. One plus side is that there’s a strong fabric cord that runs the length of the cable (on the interior) which will reduce the chance of the cable breaking if for example you’re charging a device and it falls off a table. To counter that plus, there’s very little strain relief on either of the connectors.I bought these specifically because of the length and the USB A connector. I’m chopping off the micro USB connector and putting on a coaxial power plug. I learned that they are not wired according to the standard color code; the black wire is connected to +5 and the red wire to ground. It doesn’t matter for how the cables themselves are built but fortunately I didn’t kill the device I’m powering or my power bank with the reverse-polarity output.

Strongest USB into the phone (unless you drop phone w/cord) - 6 Ft is a requirement.
For those that are complaining about the quality, don't. This USB where it goes into the phone is stronger than most all of the other cords, and that is exactly where 90% of all of these cables break, regardless of who makes them. That said, IF you drop the phone with the charger plugged into the phone, it will likely bend the plug, and then it will fall out from then on. Could you make one out of titanium that wouldn't bend?? Sure, but I'd rather bend a cable than break my phone if dropped. The USB at the phone is designed to bend and therefore become frustratingly unreliable. So, why these cables?Try the $1 store 3' cables, and you can quickly see that they will bend very easy by hand, and always after dropping from just a foot or two. Once bent, they fall out and really should be thrown out, since it will drive you crazy as they connect and disconnect every time you move the phone or the cable. Plus, invariably 3' is just too short most of the time. Always get 6 foot cables, and maybe keep one or two of the 3' for only special situations.I'm careful and never drop my phone, and so I never bend the plug. The cheap $1 brands bend and break anyway, without dropping them. However, someone else here does drop the phone, and when that happens, any of these types of USB cables will likely bend the connector and effectively "break" the cable. When that happens, don't try to rebend them straight... that fix just never works for more than a day or so. These cables are great. And, at less than $2 you can easily justify tossing out any of your problematic cables.
