A must-have time-saver for family cookouts and making pico de gallo!
I use this manual food chopper all the time during family gatherings to quickly whip up batches of pico de gallo. It’s a super fast alternative to traditional knife prep, saving me from spending ages in the kitchen or getting hand fatigue from chopping everything by hand. The mechanism is great because you can turn it in reverse to adjust or clear out ingredients inside, and then spin it clockwise to get a clean, even cut. I loved it so much that I gifted one to all of my aunts who host regular family cookouts, and they love it too. Highly recommended!

Excellent kitchen gadget that really works and is useful.
Bought my first one back in 2010(I think?) Best invention ever. Had a few of these over the years. They work amazing. Super easy to use. Easy to clean and dishwasher safe. If it's not greasy you can just rinse and it's clean. Doesn't take a lot of man power to use. Have given many as gifts too. Be careful those blades are SHARP!

The Original Miracle Chopper - The Best!
This is the original "as seen on TV" chopper! This was a gift for a friend who always said he was going to buy one whenever I made salsa for us - I make salsa often. I LOVELOVELOVE this chopper. It doesn't over chop the tomatoes, chilis, onions, etc like a processor or blender. It allows me to make a lot of salsa (in batches) quickly. The salsa is perfect everytime. I advise that you NOT attach the handle. It's really not needed as you can brace the unit with one hand and spin the blade with the other. The handle tends to weaken the hard plastic on the unit and could potentially break it. You have to rock the blade back and forth a couple of times to get the blades moving if you have dense food to chop or if it's packed with a lot. After you get it going, just spin as fast & long as you need to. I've had mine for over 10years and seriously need to get another for back up .... just in case. : ) In ten years, I've used it many many times. I've only used it to make salsa. I still have the original box to put it into when not in use and makes it easy to store.

This is 3rd chopper. I just love it for everything. The only problem, is that the handle usually breaks over time.
This is my 3rd chopper. I love it and use it for everything. The only problem is that over time the handle breaks. But for the money you can't beat the price. This time I ordered 2, so should have for a long time. It chops your veggies just perfect. Just be sure not to overload it is harder to turn the handle and that could cause the handle to break. I have arthritis in both thumbs, so chopping with a knife is out for me, and the electric choppers chop too fine for me.

Bought twice. Sharp!
Had one years ago, we got sperated, tried without it, and ended up buying another one. Great if you need a food processor for small stuff every now and again, but need more of a mandoline. I don't use the cheese grater often, and I've never used the egg bit. The one downside is I always end up cutting myself, but I am extremely clumsy, or I've confused it with an alien plant. Great for pico de gallo. Slicing potatoes, carrots, apples, your finger if you dont use the giant holder bit, zucchini, usually tomatoes but they have to be firm for the slicer, onions. The spinny part is great for making cauliflower rice, pico de gallo, anything finely diced really. Of course it doesnt have to be fine. You're in control, which is why I blame myself for nicking my finger so much. Very sharp. Only downside...second downside is it doesn't all fit into itself so you got to have a nice tin to keep the parts together. You don't want to put it in a drawer in case you nick yourself on it. Nothing ruins a meal like blood. Isn't the right kind of savory. Wrong protein. Pretty easy to clean. Haven't dropped it so I guess it is sturdy? It is easy to use. That's why I bought it again.

Totally Worth It!
It’s awesome! It’s compact and easy to use and clean! Tips for making it work and not breaking it: don’t overfill, cut up into small chunks (example a medium sized onion chop into more than 4 pieces 6-8 chunks), hold the handle at the Stem: base next to the container And gentle “loosen” it up to get blades through the chunks a couple of times and then use the handle to finish up. If making salsa, chop the dry veggies and cilantro items first. AddIng tomatoes last or other “wet” veggies or liquids helps make sure everything chops up well. I love it!!

A good, convienent, and inexpensive product, but has its quirks.
While I give it a three star rating, perhaps it should be a four with the notion of, "You get what you paid for." My main point of attention is that the handle doesn't securely fasten to the frame of the canister. My first project is definitely a tester, which was making butter from a quart of heavy whipping cream. I almost had a near disaster as the handle started separating from the frame with it loaded with the cream, as well the handle completely separating while turning the crank. Also, the cap cover fall off, and not realizing that, made a mess. That was easily remedied by rotating the crank cap to completely block the spout. Butter is not an easy thing, but it did save time and was convenient. But as the butter came out of the cream, it produced too much tension and you could hear a stripping sound from the handle. The machine did bring things to a point, a little time of using the spoon to complete the process and it was done. Do I recommend this product? Yes! But you have to keep in mind it's limitations.
