Good tune up kit for classic beetle. I had to bend the bracket on the condenser, but no big deal. I wouldn't hesitate to buy again.

This is for a 009 dizzy.
I ordered this kit for a 1967 Type 3 with a 1600 and dual carbs. I am new to the old VW stuff so I assumed that a classic tune up kit would carry through all models. The dizzy in the Type 3 has a vacuum advance, the 009 does not. The rotor in the kit was too big to fit my application and the cap was too tall. The condenser was also for a non Vacuum advance unit and the wire was too short. The kit was awesome and all the parts were original Bosch and very good quality. I think this kit is better for the traditional 1600s in Beetles. Bottom line check which distributor you have to see if it is a 009 or not.
