The SM-9000B is an advanced 2.4G wireless silent laser 1600DPI mouse which connects to your PC or laptop with a super small nano receiver. You will be amazed how much more relaxing this mouse is without the clicks.

It was great... for less than a month.
I have had this mouse less than a month and it is already showing signs of failure. Someone else might have mentioned this already but the mouse wheel scroll is becoming intermittent. When I attempt to scroll down on a web page/document/spreadsheet, etc it starts to scroll down but then jumps back up to the original position. Hard to describe but you sit there trying to scroll down for a few moments until you realize that you aren't getting anywhere - just sitting there watching the page jump up and down. This mouse started out great. It is quiet for sure, and is slightly larger than my previous quiet mouse which I liked since I have large hands. I use this every day (at work), so 8-10 hours a day of constant use, and I only got less than 30 days of use out of it. DEFINITELY not worth the money.

I produce two screencasts a day, but sometimes three. These are about half an hour. They target high school students who use the Ron Paul Curriculum. I use an Audio-Technica 2020USB microphone. It is extremely sensitive. I use Camtasia Studio 8.4, which produces MP4s. I use a pair of Denon AH-D1000 headphones as monitors.I have produced a YouTube video comparing four brands of silent mice: Nexus SM-9000, Nexus SM-8500, JSCO JNL-101K, and Bornd M120. I have posted it here: [...]. You can evaluate the mice for yourself.I rate the Bornd as a 5, the two Nexus units as 4's, and the JSCO as a 3.

Works perfectly. I bought 3 other mouses from Amazon then had to return all of them since they're either too heavy with double AA batteries, unsensitive, or had silly user's guide that made me cut myself terribly bleeding with a screwdriver (I put down the name here: Logitech Ultrathin Touch Mouse). This one is light enough and in a good shape with a high enough arch that can bear my hand. I'll buy another one when this wears out.

Not As Quiet As Demonstrated On YouTube......BUT SMART!!!!
Not 5 stars because it is not actually silent. Although the mouse is not as quiet as demonstrated on YouTube, the soft noise it makes is 100 times better then the annoying click of a regular mouse. I hesitated for a long time in buying a silent mouse because they are advertised as not having an on/off switch. I finally broke down because I could no longer deal with the noise of a regular mouse.WELL......let me inform you, although this mouse does not have an on/off switch..........it's a SMART MOUSE!!!......it is designed to turn itself off after about 3 minutes of inactivity. Then to turn it back on you just press any button. In addition there is no light indicating that the mouse is on.....which means the battery will last longer.So.....I HIGHLY Recommend this mouse.

No more clicking sound!
The clicking of a mouse can drive a person insane! Not with this mouse! It's absolutely quiet, small in size compared to most, and the best fit even for a small hand. Easy set up and like the spot to store receiver inside the mouse for transport. Even came with batteries!Already had the wired version of Nexus silent mouse model SM-8500B and loved it. The wireless mouse doesn't have the side buttons like the wired mouse which is nice. Either one, they are great!

The mouse itself is nice, and it is quiet
The mouse itself is nice, and it is quiet. My main problem with it is that there is no off button, so the batteries on this die very quickly. I have changed the batteries in this mouse more than any other. Otherwise, I like it a lot. If I didn't already throw out the packaging I would return it for the battery issue alone. I am always traveling for work, and now I also need to carry all these batteries along with me.

Nice, but a bit small and missing fowrward and back buttons
It's great laptop mouse but to small for a desktop in my opinion. I messed up and bout it without noticing it didn't have the side buttons normally used for forward and back functions. Hench, there's a whole-lot of screen traveling every time I want to hit back on a web page. I'll watch for that the next time I need a mouse. That said, I like the Nexus and would buy from them again.

Best Silent Mouse
My desk is in the bedroom and when my partner is trying to sleep with me using a normal mouse, he cant stand the clicking sound and it keeps him awake. With this mouse he is able to go to sleep no problem since it is so quiet. As with any mouse with moving parts I do have to replace it about every 6 months to a year depending on use since the buttons do start to wear.
