So far this has withstood the rigors of my 17 year old. It went on easily and offers good protection. The phone's controls are still easily accessed. This is key as other covers I have bought for him in the past interfered with the phone's controls and were therefore removed often. Of course these frequent removals meant the phone was unprotected at precisely the times it would be most likely to fall on the pavement. Not with this case - It went on and has stayed on.Since this has an open front, there is no interference with the screen. However this also means there is limited protection to the screen provided by the raised edge surrounding it. I also purchased a tempered glass screen cover to go on it, and the combination has kept his phone looking and working great.

Essentially it's a good product for a good price. IF you have the RIGHT PHONE. Unfortunately, it's not fully compatible with the Samsung Galaxy J3 Emerge. Sure the size is accurate but the case completely covers the camera, forbidding any video calls. It also hides the outlet for the headphones/aux. Literally, ALL it does is protect the phone from damage. But what good is a case if you have to remove it to use your phone??😒

It's cheap, seems durable, looks good and does what it's supposed to. Buttons are a little stiff to use, but for the price you can't beat it. Not sure why the bad reviews say it doesn't fit. I suspect they installed it wrong. No instructions included, so it takes some puzzling out.

Best case i have ever had! Protects on all sides, back and front. The case covers part of the front, screen side of phone including the top and bottom and the sides, just enough to protect and not hinder use of any functions. Also, compared to other cases, this one is constructed really well, and actually looks better in person than on website. It also allows easy access to microphone and headphone jack, while still providing protection for those vulnerable ports. I can't stress enough how this case surpassed my expectations. Just make sure that it works for your phone, they are pretty good about listing which phones it will work with.

Tricky to get phone in and out at first due to stiffness, but if you unhook at bottom and lift up partially, phone slides in and out from bottom without taking completely apart. Super durable, affordable and protects very well. Pop sockets and rings work on the back of case too. Will buy this brand in future.

for the most part once you figure it out this is an OK case but it comes with no instructions and it took me 3 hours of very up .setting trial and error to put this together. When had there been directions it should have been only a 15 minute job. So I deducted 2 stars for the uncaring Manufacture that could have spent a few cents more to provide the instructions. Buy it with the understanding you have put it together on your own.

Sadly broke when I tried to open to put in the phone, had to fight a bit still didn't figure it out, was probably too anxious 😊. Its nice and as advertised. Problem was I broke it

Very sturdy, nice-looking, and plenty of protection from falls. Material is soft-hard, like rubber, so doesn't slip out of my hand. It's got an extra frame that goes around the front perimeter of the screen which locks it into the main holder real good, and gives the front an extra amount of protection. Lasted a lot longer than my previous one. This one lasted nine months before the clip broke off.

Got this for my Samsung galaxy J3 Prime. Once the case is on, it does the trick. BUT it was hard to figure out how to get the phone in the case without any instructions to follow. Eventually my husband figured it out and it's easy, once you know. BUT the selfie camera was covered up by the plastic. Could take a pic of something else no problem but not a selfie. Hubby drilled a little hole in the case and it solved the problem. He got one in black, same problem, same solution. It was so inexpensive it wasn't worth sending it back and now it's ok. I rarely use the cover side with the belt attachment, but it does protect the screen when it's on. Just makes the phone very bulky in my bag and it catches on everything.

The camera opening was on the wrong side on the outside facing camera lense . Even though it says for 2018 Samsung j3 it definitely was not .

It's a great case for what it is. It's no lifeproof case but it fits my j3 perfect. The only thing that I don't like is the volume up button doesn't work too well with the case on as well as taking a screen shot is rather difficult. But it was easy to get on hard to get off the phone. I like it a lot very happy I ordered it!!

Good but missing a cover digital glass to protect the screen...

Not exactly fitted for the J3 but was able to adapt.
