Safavieh Mei Double Coin Ceramic Decorative Garden Stool, Light Blue

This is my third purchase through the years, so you can see that I feel the stools are made well and look very pretty outside in our yard. The first one we had was broken accidentally by workers at the house, so we replaced it about 2-3 years ago. It had been outdoors through northeast weather extremes for probably 8 years or so, but still looked brand new when it was broken, even with a 20lb statue sitting on it all the time. This last one was purchased to elevate another garden statue that is in the process of being lost among shrubs to either side that have grown much taller than originally stated, but I'm expecting the same longevity from this new one as well.

The color is beautiful and the design is also. Catches the eye without shouting, very zen. Blue is a difficult color to find in nature, especially if you do not have a full sun area. I did not realize this when I began landscaping our yard. One of my favorite combinations is light blue with a red wine or deep purple color. Japanese maples are good for the wine colors but we have more shade than sun. This light blue garden stoolsets the maples off exceptionally well.

This is so very nice! It far exceeded my expectations! Looks like it would have cost much more than it did. In addition to being able to set it beside a chair to put something on, it works great as a footstool as well!

Paint began cracking off in a few months & shortly after a year it was cracking off all over.The first spot that peeled off, I bought similar color paint and touched it up, but after it was peeling off all over, it was irrecoverable. I expected more from Safavieh and from a garden stool close to $100 (with tax.)

Cute and sturdy. However, issues with the finish. There were obviously some pit marks on this one after it was glazed and they tried to cover it up with white paint. Which is now discolored and starting to crack. Not what I would expect for $80+ I’m disappointed
