I've had several different knife sharpeners and this one seems to do a good job quickly no matter what kind of blade I'm working with, I have kitchen knives that sharpen quickly with this and a pocket knife that has always been hard to sharpen and it does a quick job on that one as well. The handle is nice and durable, comfortable in my hand, and looks impressive right out of the box. Like all these kinds of sharpening devices it's pretty simple to use, and well balanced in my opinion for large kitchen knives to be quickly touched up. The price is right too.

This is a great product! It is sharpening very well. I feel it "grab" when I run the knife across it, much moreso than the two previous sharpeners I had. The handle is a beautiful medium dark wood color. So much nicer looking than the standard black handles. This sharpener is a great value for the money. It's fairly heavy so it feels like a good quality. The length is perfect.

I bought this Honing steel this was the closest match because for my Akido Knives. This item has a handle that matches what I have for a quarter of the price. The feel is solid heavy and does a great job sharpening the blades. I highly recommend. I would buy again.

Really nice steel for honing my knives for work. I have a couple globals, miyabi, and henckels, and it does a nice job honing and keeping them sharp. I like the size, fits nicely in my knife roll.

Really great for my Japanese knifes, I read the reviews and saw that if u drop it on the floor it brakes in half so just a little paranoid about that. I had it for two years and it’s still alive
