Premium Air Dry Clay, Terra Cotta, 10 lbs

I’m used to clay but not without a pottery wheel, I was pleasantly surprised how well things worked out without one, it does dry out fast so have to keep that giant block covered for sure, but really easy to work with, prob even better with a pottery wheel. Only took 1-2 days to dry totally and I made dense figurines, there was some cracking but I found that the one that was more cracked was my first go and once I got the hang of it the others were fine, I found I had to is get the water/clay ratio down, I think the cracking was bc I didn’t use enough water, once I painted it it was fine though, I recommend covering it with a glaze at the end

maybe don’t buy 10 lbs right away, I used this to make Christmas gifts and still have so much left over!put a wet paper towel in the bag and it seems to hold up well. I dried it out with a humidifier running nearby and it turned out okay.I had fun making little jewelry dishes and embedding little trinkets//shells//jewels on them. they embedded items came off and I had to glue them back on but I think that was user error.I also set the inside with mod podge which I would recommend to anybody else.overall, do your research on air dry clay usage and I was happy with the quality

Soft and difficult this clay is a great prize to form and mold (it is crystalline and pretty).

Great quality and nice to work with but very fragile. I have had multiple pieces break easily.

I made many pieces for my jewelry business. It was my first time working with this clay and it was easy. It does shrink like regular clay but it wasn't a big deal.

Bought this clay for my granddaughter for a school project. It turned out great and there's plenty more to have fun with. Quick drying, and we had no cracking.

I have tried many air dry clays, this is the best I have ever used, it doesn’t seem to dry out as fast and is stronger than others. I love working with it.

I cannot believe this clay has positive reviews. I found it unuseable.Have been using Das but wanted larger amounts and bulk pricing. You get what you pay for.This clay is mush out of the bag. Even after significant wedging it was impossible to roll out a slab without the clay coming apart. I could barely lift it to flip when rolling. I considered leaving it out to dry to see if that made it more workable but WHO NEEDS THE HASSLE?
