POWERAXIS Versapak Battery Charger, Versapak VP110 VP130 VP100 Battery Charger for Black & Decker Battery Output 3.6V Ni-CD & Ni-MH, 1A Dual Port

This is an excellent charger for the 3.6V Ni-CD Ni-MH & Li-ion batteries that power my cordless screwdrivers. It chargers them relatively quickly and it's very easy to keep it on the workbench ready to recharge the batteries whenever needed.. They are the only batteries that fit my cordless screwdrivers that I bought from Sears over 20 years ago, and they are the best cordless screwdrivers I ever used. Sears discontinued this charger and the 3.6V batteries some time ago, so I was super happy to find these and get my screwdrivers running once again.

I'm not sure if the charger is working. The green lights are always blinking, even if there are no batteries in the charger.Update, I figured out that the blinking green lights mean that the charger is powered but there are no batteries inserted for charging. I forgot that the larger diameter of the 3000 mAh battery resulted in the need to push them into the charger with a little more force. Once I did that, the red lights came on for charging, and then went to solid green when the charge was completed. Final Assessment: It works as advertised.

The charger works well and treats the batteries nicely too. Price is right! My only complaint is that it needs to "cycle up" before you put the batteries in. The takes maybe 10 seconds but it's annoying. Once the LEDs come on, it's fine.

I have an old Black & Decker hand vacuum that still runs perfectly. Unfortunately the battery charger stopped working due to a faulty plug. I found this charger on Amazon and thought it was a better deal than replacing a functioning vacuum. This charger works great! It is even better than the OEM charger it replaced as it shows the batteries charging and when they are completely charged. I have no idea about the charger's longevity but it functions great and I am very happy with it.

I have the first version and this is a lot faster. However, as in the first version, this does not work with surround sound. If you do not care about surround sound then it would be a 5 Star.

Finally received the product and I am satisfied. Amazon delivery needs attention, but the product is fine and works as expected. Price was reasonable and quality of finish looks fine. Will need to use for awhile to determine longevity. Company response is admirable.

Worked fine while it lasted; first two charges went great. The third time the charger quit working, no lights, etc., tried several different outlets, no go. Lasted less than a week, I had to return it. It was rated 4.7 out of 5, I figured I probably got a lemon.

I was so excited to find this charger! I had a Black and Decker versapak drill that I love, but I discovered the batteries and charger are no longer manufactured by Black and Decker. I found this charger and ordered it and it worked perfectly-it's actually better made than the original.
