GGEGEL - Glo Germ Handwashing Accessories

I looked for a product that would take the place of the only one you can buy in the stores where I live. I researched online and finally found skintegrity on its web page. It is made by the same manufacturer that makes the hydrogel in the stores where I live. This is an excellent hydrogel it is the only one I use now. Not only is it great for wounds it also is a good product for scrapes and cuts, and is good for extremely dry skin.

It's good hydrogel. It's thinner, runnier, than other gels but not excessively so. It's still a gel. It's well worth using as log as the price stays lower than others. It lasts as long as other gels on the bandage and does the same wound hydration.

For the past two months, I've suffered from some extremely severe 2nd degree burns on the back of my knees - caused by falling over on a motorcycle and having my legs fry on the hot engine. I was taken to a hospital and given special care for these burns. It was extremely painful to walk, bend my knees, kept me up at night. They gave me the standard treatment of changing dressings, putting wound cleaner on, and putting silva sulfide on it. Weeks passed by and the wound still remained as gory as it originally was with no sign of healing. I looked around for alternative therapies, couldn't find much on net except Comfrey which didn't seem to do much. Finally, I hit on something about how hydrogels work better than silva sulfide, speeded up the process. So I ordered this Skintegrity which is a hydrogel. I got it last week, quit using the silva sulfide, and put this on instead. Suddenly the healing did a turn-about, it was no longer hurting to bend my left leg, I was walking more normally, and the skin seemed to be growing at last. I'm not sure if it contributed to the healing or not; I could had been allergic to the silva sulfide. It's not a controlled laboratory experiment. But the healing seems dramatic; both wounds are shrinking up, looking darker more than gory, pain is gone (though still itching at times). So maybe this is the miracle medication I was looking for. The other day, I cancelled a visit to a plastic surgeon to maybe do a skin graft. So maybe this stuff helps nature take its course more effectively. I'll pass this info to my MD, and maybe this would save some suffering for people with heavy duty burns.

I seem to have had a bad reaction to Skiintegrity so I stopped using this. I do like that it was a clear gel and a generous amount, maybe someone else can use this product that aren't so sensitive to the ingredients.

My friend has been using this recently and swears by it. She recently had radiation and the lotion is helping with the redness and skin burn. I do recommend it.

Great product for keeping sores from spreading. Use as a caregiver to control bed sores as well as protecting existing cuts, tears and abrasions

This product is being used by my husband along with skintegrity wound cleanser for the treatment of his upper arm from where a sarcome was removed. It gives a bit of a sting but is working. I strongly recommend this product.
