Might be a 5 star product. I gave it 4 stars just because we've only had it for 3 months and it hasn't rained a lot this summer. In May, when I purchased it, there was a lot of rain and it worked very well. Sometimes the dogs drag in clumps of grass and acorns too, and it has helped catch some of that as well.The 60x24 size works perfectly as a "runway" for them, as it gives them more length to walk & wipe on. I don't think the smaller ones would do much. Definitely get the largest one you can if you have big dogs. The longer they walk on it, the better it works.When I read the reviews before purchasing, I saw some people complaining that it moved around a lot and was a slip hazard. Not sure what they're doing in their house, but in our house with 3 large dogs, it hasn't moved much, and no one has slipped on it.

...although they do NOT stay in place. Other than this one flaw they are great. I solved that problem by purchasing grips that are made to attach to the back corner of the rug.

I have 4 dogs that are constantly in and out of the house that track in mud and dirt. I use to use towels at the door, but this little rug has been a great alternative. My puppy even had an accident in it and it absorbed it just fine. I do wish it was larger for the price.

Highly recommend this rug. Three dogs and a lot of rain and mud and the rug did what it claims. No more muddy wet paw prints on the floor when coming in from going outside in the rain.

This works well for our back door into our atrium. It washes and dries easily.

All dog owners should have this!
