Great machine for practicing, Especially indoors
Works great especially indoors or days without wind. Ball tends to rise at higher velocity if you are in the wind. Very sturdy and easy to adjust. I buy the lite baseballs from walmart since it works just as well and is less than half the price of jugs lite balls. Overall great machine for the money. I let my son hit in the garage with it sometimes.

Great Machine
Sturdy construction, accurate, great device to help young kids (14 & under) get their timing, catch up to fast pitches, and give them confidence to stand in there against speeds up to ~45-50 MPH. I took a star off on assembly, only because it’s a little cumbersome on your own. Was able to do it in under 15 mins, but because of sturdy construction and weight of parts, it’s not a “snap & go.” Love it though.

Perfect for our Backyard
Portable, semi-lightweight, easy to set up - perfect for backyard practices. I wish the transition from baseball to softball was as easy as the description portrayed however, it's not.

Great product
Use this all the time just wish it was where we could use regular softball but helps with or batting practice at home

Tal como lo describieron
El producto es identico al mostrado en la foto, se hicieron pruebas y funciona bien aunque esperaba que la velocidad de lanzamiento fuera mayor.

Solidly built. Not so easy to set up or re configure. Only uses Lite Flite foam balls and poly balls
My daughter was a dancer for 7 years and then at age 13 she decided she wants to play softball. She's very athletic and trainable. We got her a coach and she'd come a long way over the last year. But she still struggles with hitting. I'm not a sports ball person so I can't really help much. I can barely soft throw into a batting net. So I thought I'd give this a whirl. Her batting has improved a lot in just a week. Being able to hit a few buckets of balls every day has helped a lot. It gives her a chance to improve her hand/eye coordination and work on her mechanics at home (more on that in a second). Long term, I don't know how good this is going to be once she gets her hitting down. But in the short term, I think it's been very worth while. It's fun to use and she is constantly bugging me to hit balls. All a good thing!About the machine. It's very solidly built. Runs on 110VAC, so you'll need a power supply. If you want to use this at a field without power. I already had several Solar "Generator" batteries that put out enough power to run it. Juggs says they also have a rechargeable battery pack. The machine itself is a bit clumsy to put together, but not too bad. It can be configured for 12" Lite Flite Softballs or Lite Flite hardballs (for baseball). You can also buy poly whiffle balls if you like. It does NOT use regular softballs or hard plastic pitching machine softballs. You can vary the speed of the pitch, and also tilt the pitching head for various curve balls. Once you set the position and tighten the knobs, the pitches are very consistent unless it's really windy. I use a pitching/hitting net behind a plastic home plate. The reduced the chasing of missed balls and also provides a good target to aim at. The machine itself is fairly safe, although I can easily see someone sticking a finger in the wheel and possibly hurting themselves. Would not recommend for small children to operate without supervision. The ball coming out of the machine, even at its fastest speed is relatively safe. I've had it cranked up to max and put my hand in front and let a ball hit it. Barley stings. HOWEVER, I strongly recommend some sort of protective net for the operator (I hide behind a lawn chair). Once my daughter started making contact, the ball comes back very fast. Hit balls have dented the aluminum kick plate in my patio door. The balls also can go very far. My daughter is easily hitting these things 50-60 yards before they peter out and drop. We have a decent size yard, but our first outing lead to one ball stuck on my roof, one ball on my neighbor's roof, and one that just disappeared somewhere. We're fortunate to have a small park in my neighborhood and we go down there to hit. I did order one of those large 9'x16' nets to see if I can contain the hits in my back yard since it's much more convenient to hit back there. The alternative is a full batting cage net, but I don't know if I really want to do that. The machine is heavy and seems well made. The legs can be set in the low position for softball or elevated for baseball. You also need to change the feed tube for the different size balls. There is a positioning adjustment that uses two screw in knobs to set the pressure plate that keeps the ball pressed against the power wheel. It's not a fast process to move between ball sizes.Since this was an Amazon "free returns" product, I decided to give it a chance, especially since it is so expensive. But I think I'm going to keep it. I also bought another dozen balls and a bucket that holds all 24. We typically do 4 or 5 buckets in a session, especially with the Florida heat. I realize this machine is expensive, but considering a decent composite bat is between $350 and $500 I guess it's just part of the admission ticket for the sport. Definitely would recommend.
