The watch has changed my life. I can view calendar updates, callers, text, weather and stock information in a matter of seconds. I just glance my watch. The battery life can be still improved but already now it is a great device. Two thumbs up Review: Fills the Bill for Now - Of the available smart watches the MetaWatch FRAME looks GREAT, is the current winner, and I would have given it 5 stars except: 1. The form factor is still a little large 2. The Bluetooth response to some of my phone's texts and emails is a bit more delayed that I would like 3. I sometimes loose connection, but it is pretty simple to reboot (3 levels, not very well documented) But it has served my major reason for purchasing it, to find out if a smart watch would be useful to me. YUP! Until Samsung comes out with the Galaxy Gear (Sept 4?) and Apple comes out with the iWatch (2014) this is the one!

Simply doesn't do what it says. Bluetooth doesn't reconnect. Makes your life much worse than it is
I bought a metawatch frame at the beginning of 2013. Shipped from usa, arrived in time. First thing that disappointed me is that the glass of the watch creates a "mirror" effect and that the display cannot be read unless you spend your time to angle your wrist in a way that the mirror effect goes away and you actually see what is in the display. Quick glances are definitely out of question; the watch that "should make your life easier" in actual fact, begins with turning simple tasks difficult. Now, let's talk about the real low points. First, you need to update the firmware to suit your mobile phone (iphone 4s in my case). Good luck with their website which is difficult to navigate and the instruction difficult to find. Ok, you make it; the watch switches on and you pair it with your phone's bluetooth. Be prepare to so this operation a good 10 times a day, as it won't stay connected and above all, it won't receonnect automatically despite you select the same named function. Simply it doesn't work. It just needs to leave you phone in a room, go out of range and here you go, you have got a weight at your wrist that is good at nothig but exercising your muscles. Please note i have become an expert of this watch (before selling it secod hand on ebay 6 months later!), so believe me when i say my watch was perfectly up to date, perfectly set up etc. Now, you think you have got a watch that saves you the time to fish you phone from the jacket to see who is calling? The truth is that when you need it, it is unpaired, so not only you won't see who is calling (and probably miss the call as you still think the watch is connected) , you have to spend a good 5 minutes to reboot your phone and the waych ang go through the settings again. That's progress! Other random issues: Software Updates are non existent. When released they are a joke, ie the new version has more bugs that the one before. Now hold on for this one, when you are lucky enough and you get a txt and the watch tells you that, you can see just the first 5-6 words of the message, as you can't scroll and see the whole of it! Genious! Battery indicator is useless, stays 3 days at 100% and thereabouts, and then 3 hours later the watch switches off as the battery has run out. Sometimes the watch freezes, which means that won't even reboot. You need to connect it to a pc to unfreeze it. The recharging clip broke in one month, the metal contacts came off, poor design. I have been sent a replacemet free of charge. The first that arrive was for the wrong model (strata) and didn't fit. Another 2 weeks wait and got the right one, but instead of black it was white. It had the same poor design of the contacts, but i did't keep long enough to see it fail. Widgets are useless, you have got a chinese calendar, wow, how useful is that? Don't be deceived, screenshots that display missed calls numbe and unread email number are for android phones, for iphones this function is not available. the only thing you have got is time, weather and link to your calendar events. Again you cant read more than a few lines, and the rest cannot be visualized, so you'd better input short calendar descriptions, otherwise you'll miss it. One of the last updates was supposed to introduce a light detection function, which switches the (pitiful) light on automatically at night when you receive a message. Never worked, reinstalled the update 3 times. Simply the usual lame update. Facebook button "coming soon".... It has been like this for 7 months or more! I repeat that SEVEN MONTHS, a new meaning of "coming soon"!! Simply ridiculous. This is the degree of software developement and update frequency you might expect from this company. Save your 100$, wait a little, and buy the iWatch, or something else that actually works. Sold the watch on ebay, never regretted for a minute. I have spent so much time on it and gave it all the chances available, but ultimately, it is a total lemon, perhaps in a pair of year they could make a half decent prodouct, but by then there would be another half dozen better out there. Great watch, BUT
The watch itself is great except for one small thing. Unless you are outside in the sunlight you can't read the display. Sitting at home in the evening watching TV for example and the screen is almost impossible to see.

Best smartwatch available
Other Smartwatches are ugly and bulky. I get complements on my frame all the time. No one thinks it's geeky; they say it looks badass.
