These little pruners are just the right size to fit my "adult woman" hands. The are super sharp. I used them to "bonsai" a very large jade plant. They cut cleanly. I really like the curved blade pruner. It gets right into tight places with ease. I worked with these for quite a while without any fatigue in my hands at all. I was searching for tin snips and I needed thin ones. I wandered into the garden snips area without noticing. So I can't say how they are for the garden but I can tell you they work as tin snips. They are curved a little which is slightly annoying for making straight lines but I doubt those cutting plants will care. Remember to read the full description before purchasing items.
