Spigen Ultra Hybrid S Designed for Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus Case (2017) - Midnight Black

Let me start by saying I hate cases. All cases. Even the idea of cases. Electronics are meticulously designed by the men and women that build them to feel a certain way in your hand, and they should be enjoyed in their true state. I have owned dozens of smart phones - iPhones, Androids, Blackberries, even Windows phones - and never a case on any of them. I know the risks, and yes I have broken a couple along the way. But, then I got my S8+. If the S8+ took human form I would surely leave my wife and run away with her. It's physical design is unmatched. As much as I love the phone, it is a fragile beast. Curved display, glass on the back, polished metal band - it is just asking for disaster. But, it is a beautiful device and I did not want to hide it, so I bought this case. Fit the bill perfectly. This case is small form factor, and is very clear so you can still enjoy the aesthetics of your device. After all, buying a "flagship" phone is about the looks of it as well as the other aspects. So, if you have an S8+, and hate cases, buy this one. Or don't. My only complaint is the case shows fingerprints. Kickstand works well when needed.

I haven't had this case for long, but I'm very accustom to phones and cases. As a brand, Spigen never disappoints. The case is built solid. Squishy edges snap into place very firmly and provide a ton of much needed grip to the phone. When resting on its face there's 1 or 2 mm of space between the screen and the desk, so most scratches (apart from being in a pocket with other things, you horrible people know who you are) should be avoided just by having the case on. I went ahead and bought some YOOTECH wet application protectors as well just to be double safe. They're nice apart from the edges being a pain to get to stay down.Apart from that though, there's really not much to the case. Obviously the holes are big enough for you to plug stuff in. The buttons are still accessible... though I'd rather Bixby not be to be honest. It has a nice look and feel to it and it doesn't add a ton of bulk to the phone, which is nice as the phone is so wonderfully thin.

For two dollars less you can get the kickstand-less version of this case, and for ten dollars you can get the kickstand - so if you want both products, you can save quite a bit by buying this item instead.The case is clear, and cut away at the sides to accommodate the S8's curved screen. The fit is tight, but the installation is easy. I've found the protection from the case to be excellent. The kickstand (sold separately) has been ok too, but my gripes really center around how far the item protrudes from the back surface. However, with the two items integrated, the case has the kickstand inset quite a ways. If the kickstand is about 1/16" tall (when collapsed), virtually none of it sticks out of this case. The part that does protrude is rounded and does not catch on anything (pictured). Unfortunately, this can still cause problems when the phone is on a hard surface with the phone's vibration notifications turned on. While the phone would normally slide around on the surface, it instead rattles the kickstand against the surface (potentially scratching it). It's just worth keeping in mind.If you want a decent case and a kickstand, this is a good combo for you. Just be aware of the kickstand if you are worrying about scratching anything up.

Great case! I've had this case for about a week.PROs:-The cutouts are precise and they conform to the S8+ PERFECTLY and VERY snug. Getting the case off to do some cleaning can be difficult.-The kickstand works great and the phone sits at nearly a 45 degree angle when propped up.-I can lay the phone face-down on a flat surface without worrying that the screen will get damaged because of the edges.-I do have a flexible screen protector on my phone and depending on the protector you use, it should work with this case just fine. I always order 2+ of the flexible screen protectors because if the first doesn't apply well or wears out, I can re-apply the second or even trim the second to accommodate the case.-This is a harder case than the TPU cases which can bend. This bends only mildly. The back is hard plastic and the sides and tops are more rubber-like to absorb shock.-The case is snug but I was able to fit a thin metal plate between the phone and the case with minimal thickness increase.Not so PROs (normal wear/tear):-I did end up dropping my phone and the hard plastic mentioned above has sprouted a small fingernail-like thin line crack but it hasn't effected the performance of the case and I can't even feel the crack with my finger on the outside.-I wish it had a finger hold thing, but that would be a bonus.

Meh. Sort of ruins the aesthetic of the s8+, the stand disrupts contact charging, and I found it sort of scratches up the rounded edges of the device. I think it's probably just the oleophobic coating that's being scratched up but once I saw what was going on I felt keeping the case on was a mistake. Clear back is ultimately ugly and a distraction with bits of dust/lint getting caught up in there (as happens with any phone case, but you typically can't see it!). I will say the stand feels like it's high quality, as are the rest of the materials in the case.

I bought this reluctantly as I always used wallet case. The case looks cool and doesn't add any weight to the phone and maintains the beauty of the phone. I always drop my phone and have broken it 3 4 times in the past. With this one, I dropped it really bad to the effect it went for a real toss in thr ground once and it did not even get a scratch, I Still couldnt beleive. I dropped it again 3 or 4 times after that and it has withstood all the fall. Truly this protects and made me wrote a review even though it had been 5 months since I bought this. The stand is Ok and I can make it stand. If they improved the stand feature to use it both ways and make it more stable it would be great. I 100% recommend this case if you want to protect as well as maintain the beauty of phone. I have got my money worth.

La marca siempre ha sido mi favorita, y éste modelo no es la excepción, es la segunda que compro, porque en un poco más de un año, la anterior se puso amarilla, solo por eso compré una nueva.

The case fits the phone very snugly and it looks good. The only criticism I have is that the clear back actually doesn't really let the back of the phone shine through and it does allow some dust to sneak its way between the case and the phone over time. As a result, the phone doesn't look quite as good from the back, but the magnetic stand works very well, better than in the previous spigen case I bought for my S6. I would still recommend it to people as it provides a very good fit from the front.In terms of protection from drops, it has protected my phone from drops from waist height so far, although I wouldn't trust it to protect the phone from drops of anything higher than elbow height.

Du spigen. Produit parfait, mais attention si vous avez une protection écran. Il y a risque de décollage (idem avec d'autre marque, donc remarque non négative). Mais avec de la patience tout rentre dans l'ordre.

Wie meist ist die Qualität und das Design von SPIGEN TOP - auch in diesem Fall - Case ist schick -trägt wenig auf und Schützt ordentlich - oberer und unterer Rand erhöht und so erhöht das man sich keine Sorgen machen muss wenn es auf den Boden fällt oder so (Glas nach unten) abgelegt wird. Ränder links und rechts nicht zu hoch aber fest ohne das die Hülle zu soft ist. Zudem ist der Rand schick glänzend schwarz in meiner gewählten Version und hinten transparent - so sieht man schön das Logo und das Handy selbst noch. Aber Vorsicht - in Verbindung mit Folien (in meinem Fall die Original Samsung Folie) die das komplette Display abdecken funktioniert es defakto nicht - da sich die Folie mit dem Rand wieder löst (keine Chance !!!) Was aber funktioniert wenn man die Folie minimal rundherum um 1-2mm kürzt ! Dafür kann aber die Hülle selbst nichts daher volle 5 Sterne !
