Wireless Spy Hidden Camera, Corprit 1080P WiFi Home Security Camera Table Clock Nanny Cam

The video quality was pretty bad, grainy and dark. But i didn't expect perfection for $80 so I looked passed that. However, the included disc containing the software corrupted my PC's OS beyond repair. The PC is 6 months old and has never had an issue. 2 hours after installing the disc, the PC froze and I was presented with a blue screen error showing total corruption of the system config stemming from the files linked to the new software. After troubleshooting for hours there was no saving it. We do not have an OS restore disc so the 3rd party cost to repair the PC will no doubt be well beyond what I paid for the device. I don't know how this item has such good overall reviews. It did nothing but cost me time and money at a point where i needed it for emergency purposes.

Why is the picture PURPLE? I tried changing the Gamma setting but it didn't help. The picture is clear enough though.Setup is confusing but I figured it out. The directions are obviously written by someone who's first language isn't English. Also, it seems like the directions may be for a similar but not exactly the same product. It mentions a reset "key" and it mentions stabbing a reset "hole" but there's really a reset BUTTON on this unit. Some hidden cams have a reset hole but not this one.Also, the audio is way way behind the video. But it's like that on all of these types of units. I think they're all made by the same company.To say the unit has night vision is a major overstatement. The IR lights only illuminate what's directly in front of the camera, not an entire room.

This camera was super easy to set up. The video resolution is excellent if the lighting is bright (like an office or the demo in the advertisement). Video is fairly graining if the light is more like what you'd have in your living room but that's still ok to easily make out what is going on. The issue I have is that there is really no audio. I tried everything I could think of and did not get but muffled and unintelligible sound recorded from what was a very reasonably loud source. It is the exact same problem with the speaker; I speak as loud as I can into my cell phone and the person at the hidden camera can hear only a little bit of garbled sound and nothing could be understood. I have a very high speed internet connection and 4G on my phone.

I would NOT recommend this camera! The clock worked okay with the battery, but the wifi didn't work at all, and I was never able to view the camera with any mobile device since the camera never gave off a wifi signal. The "reset" button DOES NOT work. The only way to reset is to remove the power supply and battery. If you run the clock off the battery and then decide to plug in the power supply to the wall outlet (to save battery power) the clock will freeze up showing 88:88. Also, the instructions are poorly written by someone who doesn't have full command of the English language (I.e., "stab the reset hole" instead of press the rest button), and there is no troubleshooting section. Since I was never able to connect to wifi or view live video I shipped this back the day after I received it.

Horrible Spy Camera: The wifi and app process was not difficult and confusing and may times the wifi signal from the actually clocking devise would not work properly. You had to be on the same network as the clock to view images, could not view from LTE setting on phone. Also camera was not hidden but was visible when in bright light. Will be returning.

This is the worst Camera. There is no manual provided. I could not figure out which app to install for a while - had to go through some of the product videos to find out the app that needs to be installed to get it working. Once I installed the app, I still was not able able to figure out.Apart from issues of getting it working, the product itself is made of cheap material.

just a nany cam..need to set alarm on your phone.usless piece of hardware..too big to be just a simple digital clock.would expect radio or alarm clock capability to justify size..sd include poor quality...not motion sensetive...good to watch on phone while at home...or set to record before you leave but no user controls remotely after leave.

Likes: I like that the camera is in a clock. It is small and fits snugly on my TV stand. It is aesthetically appealing and blends in with the decor. The cam captures much of the room and the video quality is decent when the light is on.Dislikes: the clock is set to military time which is a bit inconvenient since I truly need to use the clock to tell time. The video quality is poor when the lights are off. There is also a lag-time that is longer than what is expected for the cost of the cam. Set-up was difficult because both cams (I bought two) had to be repeatedly deleted from my android before I could establish live video. The reset button does not work. The WiFi indicator light does not work. The instruction book poorly communicates how to access features of the cam. As of right now, neither will record automatically once the motion detectors are triggered. Instead, they both are taking snapshots. This could be user-error given that the book does not explain features well. Or, it could be that the camera does not automatically record. An upside is that I can get alarms when the motion detectors are triggered, and then I can manually press the button to record (provided that Android is powered on).
