Beautiful case but not for everybody
I ordered both colors of the Flip View case (metallic black and grey). I was using the Spigen bumper case before trying this out and just wanted to try using the "circle case" feature that LG G3 offers.First impressions are very good. The case seems to be well made and looks very very cool (very cool). Personally, I prefer the black one because it looks sleeker on top of the dark screen. The outside does a good job of deflecting small dirt particles when you use the stand feature and is easy to brush. The magnetic strap comes in very handy in keeping the top cover secure. One of my favorite features about this case is that the strap and top cover can both be folded by, and held by a magnet. Taking pictures is possible even when the case is folded back because there is the circle cutout. Although if you don't position it correctly, you may be able to see the top edge of the circle cutout hanging around the top of your photo.I ended up returning both cases after trying it out for a few days. The thing that bothered me most was how linty the inside became. The circle cutout also moves quite a lot so while it's possible to see the ring that follows the edge of the circle when you tap, you cannot see the entire ring. It takes careful positioning of the top cover in order for it to be precise. It's a small difference but it does not interfere with any functioning. If you're someone who is used to/prefers the slimmer cases, this might not be for you. If you don't wear loose pants, it might be hard for you to slide this into your pocket (plus a lint problem). If you're a college student/bike commuter like me, you'll need something that is easy to grab and go.

Fits nice/Somewhat large
Great case for the LG G3, I just didn't realize how large the case made the phone (which is already large). If I could go back in time, I'd definitely go with a sleeker case. I ended up taking the case off after a few months because I just couldn't handle how large it was. My only other complaint is that the case somewhat covers my camera (sometimes) and the light for the camera when the case is open and folded back, which causes discoloration or shadows in photographs. Overall however, the case fits the phone great, looks great, and the magnetic closure is awesome. Love the fact that the case can be manipulated into a stand. The phone is responsive to to smart circle on the case.

... then protection but when I got it I was sad how thin it was
I knew going in to this purchase it was more for looks then protection but when I got it I was sad how thin it was. I was afraid of using this case if I wasn't sitting down because I knew this would not protect it if it fell. And after a weeks use, the cover didn't sit straight on the face of the phone anymore. Now honestly, the official LG G3 case made me feel the same way.So if you are into the quick circle gimmick buy this before you buy the official.

Glue in Case Melts When Phone Gets Warm and Causes Phone to Fall From Case.
At first this case didn't seem that bad. On day 1, the only negative thing I had to say about this case is that the Quick Circle Window is smaller than it's supposed to be. There should be about an eighth of an inch removed from the boarder of the Quick Circle Window. Because of that 1/8" extra material, I'm unable to see the complete animations used in Quick Circle Mode. After a few weeks use, I found a major flaw in this case's construction and I have to recommend not buying this case because of it. That flaw is the Faux Leather case is just glued to a plastic case. The LG G3 has an issue where it gets pretty warm. It gets so warm that it melts the glue holding the leather flip case to the plastic snaps to the phone case. Multiple times now, the two separate cases have come apart leaving me with the Quick Circle cover material and a cheap plastic case that doesn't seem like it would protect anything on it's own. This is just fine if all you do is light email reading, phone calls, don't ever have your screen on for more than two or three minutes at a time, and don't care that you're missing out on the pretty animations. Once you start playing games, watching YouTube, or do anything that is processor heavy, the phone will heat up to the point it will make the case literally melt apart.Another heat related issue with this case. The LG G3 is know for getting a bit warm. Before I had this case, I never once had a heat related warning while playing emulated PSX games. With this case, I started getting them 30 minutes into a game. The case both traps heat and is made with materials (GLUE) that melts when it gets too hot.I knocked off 1 star for the wrong Quick Circle size, 1 star because it's held together by glue and comes apart with average phone use, and another star because it broke within this first month of having it and now I have to fix it with a better bonding agent. I shouldn't have to need to fix and refurbish a product that's had less than a month's use nor would I have even had to if it was bonded together with something better than glue.Outside of those issues, I really did like the case, how it felt, and how much easier my phone was to carry in one hand after the case was installed.....until the glue broke down and my phone fell three feet. Luckily I was standing over my bed and my $400 phone landed on my covers instead of the metal bed frame a few inches away.See the attached screenshot for my case that's been melted apart.I'm torn between just fixing it by replacing the glue with something like JB Weld or ordering the Quick Circle Case from LG. Like I stated above, I really did like the case up until it failed and broke. I could ignore the Circle Window being too small and hiding the border animations, but I can't ignore the glue holding it all together breaking down and my phone falling a few feet onto my bed. If this case would have failed outside or while I was standing over something hard, there's a good chance my phone would have been damaged (cracked screen) and in need of me having to use my phone's warranty.

Hack this case and make it PERFECT!!
The problem = The plastic part only protects the sides and phone falls out of this case too easily. The solution = Pull the flexible part off of the plastic case that is provided (it's just glued on) and attach it to a better plastic case that protects the top, bottom, back and sides. I used the LG SUPCASE. Then you will have the PERFECT CASE for the LG G3. Honestly Spigen really dropped the ball here as I only did what they should have.

Looks nice, works well, good price
I've had this case for about 3 weeks now and its worked very well. I believe it is meant to replace the back of your phone as it fits slightly better when you remove the back of your phone, but I've kept mine on and it still fits just fine. It looks very nice and has a smooth vinyl feel on the outside and a felt surface on the inside. The circle feature works perfectly - double tap to turn on, swipe to access features, double tap to turn off.As far as protection and wear goes, I've dropped it a few times including once on concrete and my phone remains undamaged and the case remains unscratched. If you drop it without the front cover on, there is still a small lip on the case that can protect your phone (but I wouldn't rely on it regularly). It's no otterbox, but as long as you're not throwing your phone at walls it will be more than sufficient.

Weak impact resistance!!!
At first i loved this case, has a really nice finish to it and fits perfectly but don't be fooled.1.The magnetic tab that keeps the case closed tends to get caught when removing/placing in pocket and is likely to rip off over time2. The front cover is very weak where the Quick Circle and speaker cut-out details meet, this makes it floppy3. The veiwing stand.. Again far too flexible! Need to get the angle right or will slip down/fall over4. The inside of case is finished in a light grey flaux and although looks nice its a dirt magnet. But worst of all is the protection!!!!The plastic frame where the phone clips in only covers the sides, the top and bottom of the phone are completely exposed with only the flimsy front cover protecting these areas! And as the front cover moves up and down by 14mm (when closed) this is a real weak spot.Sadly for me the first time i dropped my phone (from only waist height i might add) you guest it CRACKED SCREEN! πThis case looks pretty and will keep the scratches off but it you want something impact resistant and hard wearing stay away!

Slick case and designed well in all aspects but not so confident about drop protection
If you are clumsy or are cursed with dropping your phone all the time, I would feel uneasy about recommending his case. Although I have not dropped it, I feel if the phone were to land on it's corner - on a hard surface - it might not fare as well as if it were in a case with rubber corners. However, if you rarely drop your phone then this case is great!Pros:Thin profile and nice textured cover that is secured nicely by the magnet "clasp". The magnet has a low profile as well so it doesn't "stick out" or snag on anything. it also cleverly secures the cover in place when the cover is flipped open and back onto itself, behind the phone, allowing you to still hold the phone nicely with one hand - you don't have to contend with a cover that is flapping around and blocking your view of the display. You can also take pictures with the rear-facing camera when the cover is opened and secured behind the phone because the cover doesn't block the rear-facing camera lens, thanks to the circular opening on the cover.I really like the circular opening as you can check messages, receive calls, take pictures and more - all with the cover still closed! The case also has a lengthwise bend/groove on the backside of the phone which allows you to fold the case to prop up the phone (in landscape view) for easy viewing of videos. I worried about the magnetic clasp blocking the view, but again, the design allows you to bend back the magnet clasp and "stick" to the case so it is out of your way.Cons:Again, I worry about dropping this phone.

A good case
Slim case which holds the phone well. Works perfectly with LG G3 and offers good protection from scratches. My phone also survived a number of drops and falls without damage. Over time the plastic material does begin to age and crack at the hinges making the fit more loose and exposing the corners of the phone screen. After 15-months of daily use the magnetic closure came apart and case became un-usable. Still fair value, does the job!

Great product, with one small downside.
This fit my LG G3 great, fairly durable, outside finish is nice, and the magnet worked very well without effecting the phone at all. The downside is that the inside is a light grey, and ends up looking quite dirty, very quickly, even after basic use. If the inside was a darker finish, I would have kept this case longer.
