Il Salone Milano Plex Bond Rebuilder Permanent Hair Color Kit - 12.11

I had previously bleached my hair and it still had a yellow undertone, so I decided to try this yellow remover to dye my hair white. I understand that purple is on the opposite end of the color spectrum, thus theoretically neutralizing the yellow. After using this product, however, most of my hair is now somewhere between a light purple to a dull silvery gray, while the roots are still a very pale shade of yellow. Perhaps after a few more shampoos the purple and silver-gray will fade. ***UPDATE*** The purple, silver-gray did fade after a few washes! My hair is now a really pale blonde, almost white. Still the slightest yellow tint on the newly grown roots, but it’s still much better than before using this product. The last bit of yellow should fade after just a few more washes. Also, after bleaching, my hair was left extremely dry and brittle, so this product did help to add some moisture back.

This lightened my hair color beautifully, left it on much better condition than before hand. It is not a color stripper. Previously I had stripped my hair down to platinum blond, then used baby blue permanent hair dye. My hair grows fast. After 2 months natural color was growing back in. This dye did not remove all of the blue, just most of it. My natural hair color is a mix of salt & pepper - some of it dark, some white around my face. This dyed my hair ( apart from the blue) a pretty light ash blond color. Really lovely color, even, very shiny - strong & silky feeling. Unfortunately I am going to have to redye it a slightly darker color to cover the blue - do not want to strip it again. May try reverse streaking it with a medium ash blond. This feels like the best hair dye that I have ever used. Comes with a special packet to use after dyeing, plus another for after washing. Was not 100% good for me due to my special situation. Hair treatment from this company is about $22 per tube. More than I like to spend, but it may be worth it. My hair texture is the best it has felt in years. It strengthens hair and reduces breakage by 80% as well as making it soft as silk and full of body.

This product is horrible! I've been coloring my hair for over 15 years and never experienced such a disaster! After following the instructions completely, the color never came out as in the picture on the box!!! A comlete waste of time and money!!! I advise you NOT to waste your money... Extremely dissatisfied, disappointed and needless to say, ANGRY!

I love the color or lack thereof this creates. Mine turned out exactly like the box. Was very happy with it. I am a natural blonde going white so this was a nice blend. Make sky hair feel soft and silky too.

Color isn't as light as it looks on box and mine was bleached almost white. I really wanted a white color but it's not much different than wella t 18. I emptied everything into a bowl because I can't stand those bottles. It does come with conditioner and mask. My house feels better than it did before. You don't shampoo after, just rinse. I couldn't see anything in the instructions. Oh you will need two boxes or more I used the whole box on my very short hair.

I was a bit apprehensive about trying a different brand of haircolor, I finally got my courage up and tried the Il Salone Milano Plex Rebuilder Permanent Hair Color Cream - 10.1 Extra Light Ash Blonde today. I am impressed and believe that I have found my new "Go To" haircolor. I will see how long the color lasts and go from there. I used this color on my semi dry, previously blonde colored and bleached hair. My hair was several shades of blonde, brass, and yellow. I know, I was taking a chance, but this color is amazing. It was easy to use, (the directions are a bit small:)) and there was plenty of product to well saturate all of my hair which is below my shoulders, in one kit. The smell was not overwhelming and the product did not feel hot on my head. My results were fantastic! The color is a very light platinumy blond with a twinge of ever so subtle silvery gray highlights. The most amazing thing is that after drying (with a blow dryer) and styling my freshly colored hair, there were only about 6 strands of hair in my brush, no damage at all from this hair color. My hair is bouncy, soft and shiny. I love it and hope it lasts for awhile. I used about 1/3 of the lovely smelling conditioner packet today as well. There is an additional packet of upkeep conditioner to use in 3 weeks according to the directions. I will most likely try it a little sooner.

Although it left my hair soft and not feeling dry, the color is not effective. I was a level 8 overall, I bought the 10.1 extra light ash blonde but it made no difference whatsoever it lightened up my level 7 roots a tiny bit, basically blending the overall look but did not quite give me the high lift to level 10 that I was seeking. The bonding plex might have worked and that on its own is good but colorwise it was a fail.

Color came true. I’ll take before and after pics when I order again.
