I love chase San born coffee, why all of a sudden I can’t get large can, and the price for either is all of a sudden high. What is going on???? I’ll go elsewhere for coffee that’s close to it. Market B used to sell it too…. It’s a great coffee, they should sell it again! Marie S

I don’t know what the coffee industry is done in the last two decades, but I do notice that most coffees don’t taste like coffee used to taste This coffee was a pleasant surprise as the aroma and the taste was similar to the good old days of coffee I will purchase it again

Try Chase & Sanborn if you are looking for morning coffee with a delicious taste. It is a medium blend that is mild but fragrant and flavorful, not harsh, acidic, or “burnt.” I used to have to go out of my way to find Chase & Sanborn in stores, but now thankfully, it is available on Amazon.

I heard about this coffee while listening to Radio oldies channel on my satellite radio. I looked it up to see if it was still around and it was! I ordered a can and it turned out to be better than the Dunkin' coffee I've been buying. It has a great nutty, coffee flavor, not bitter. Even with an automatic coffee maker it tastes very good. I use a kettle filled to the spout with water, scoop a cup of Chase and Sanborn coffee and drop it right in the water and bring it to a rolling boil for five minutes. Take off the heat, let sit for a minute then pour in a cup of cold water. Drink to the old timers who knew what good coffee was and how to make it properly!

The beans are ground coarse, better for percolating vs most coffees. Usually I have to go to a grocery store to grind the beans coarse. You can use in drip but use a bit more because it’s coarse. For percolating I use 4 coffee tablespoons for 5 cups. Excellent taste, just a bit bolder the medium coffee like eight o’clock, but still medium flavor. It is not overly bold. Just a different smooth taste than 8 o’clock coffee. I have tried other regular ground coffee in percolator not so good. Highly recommended.

This review is for my subscription for Chase & Sanburn coffee, 864gram metal cans. I use 60 grams per 11 “cups” of coffee. My local store stopped carrying this brand. We like the taste of this brand fine, and the can is recyclable. We stopped using Maxwell House due to the shrinkflation and their switching to a non recyclable plastic container. Four stars because the price is a third higher through Amazon, but better than driving 50 kilometers to the next store that carry our preferred brand of go juice.
