Really good gift and cheap but still good quality.

This projector doubled up as a salt lamp which is an interesting combination. The rocks are separate from the unit and can be removed which is nice, especially if you want better ceiling coverage from the projector itself. However, the salt rocks work really well to diffuse the light, making it a great bedside night light - very relaxing indeed. It uses USB-C to power itself which is great to see. It comes with a remote control which you can use to change colours etc. It does have a timer mode which can be pretty handy when running this at night time. One thing worth mentioning is that the rocks do not get as warm/hot as regular salt lamp rocks (ones that use filament bulbs), making them safer for kids to touch. The description also has a few things about the salt "absorbing negative ions", which is a little misleading as scientific research shows that these lamps have no "healing effects", however, they are soothing and relaxing to look at. Overall, interesting combination but it definitely works. Great as a gift.

The media could not be loaded. A two part lamp, you can either use it as a normal star projector, or put the plastic tray on top and fill it with the Himalayan salt that comes with the lamp and let the different coloured lights shine through it, giving a beautiful optical effect.The light comes with a USB cable but no plug, which seems to be normal these days, so you will either have to repurpose one you already have, buy a new one, or run it off another USB supply.The lamp comes with a remote control, with battery included, remove the plastic shim before using. You can then use the remote to set different colours, shine a laser through the rocks, set a timer, dim or brighten or turn on and off the rotating mode.On the base is a small stand that you can unfold, this will then tilt the lamp, so that you can shine it off of a wall.A great lamp especially if your a believer in the cleansing properties of the salt.
