Hands down the best most feature packed smart charger on the market !!
Theses are pry the best feature packed battery chargers on the market period. I have read a lot of reviews where people are crying like babies about have to press to many buttons, I just laugh if someone thinks pressing a few keys is to many steps to setup charging mode you want to be in and how mah capacity the battery in that slot is then, buy a cheaper unit and stop crying, Theses are the same people that text and type all day pressing keys !!.I have two of theses units running and have well over 100 Eneloop Pro AA High Capacity Ni-MH Pre-Charged Rechargeable Batteries https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00MXCIK32/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1We use them in Wireless and non Wireless trail cams on large property's we maintain,I always start new batteries with the break in mode takes about 36-40 hrs onetime when you 1st get the Eneloops then just regular charging after that.Best chargers out there just set down and read the booklet that comes with it and yes you may need to take time and read it again, We leave the booklet out with the chargers to reference if needed.

A LOT of Technology in a Small Charger/Analyzer!
I have only had my PowerEx MH-C9000 charger-analyzer now for just about two weeks, but it has been running constantly since it arrived. In order to keep this review short, all I can say is "WOW", what a charger! At the time of this writing, all my AA and AAA Nicads and NiMH batteries are all analyzed and charged up, ready to go. I was even able to 'revive' two Eneloop NiMH's that I thought were too deeply discharged to save, but I was able to 'bring them back' and their capacities are just a little short of full. For a small flashlight, that is of absolutely no concern whatsoever. I must say that this charger does have a learning curve, but it is small, overall; and there are enough reviews of this charger-analyzer out there on the net and on YouTube the learning curve is pretty shallow overall. One thing the directions did not make perfectly clear but the reviews out there did is that you have the ability to charge only one, or two, or three or four batteries at a time. They can be different sizes AND they can be NiCad or NiMH and you can be performing different functions with them too. Every slot in this charger is independent of others around it. This is the nicest, most comprehensive and most flexible battery charger I have ever used in over 25 years of using rechargeable batteries. I have seen battery technology really change and advance over the years and finally there is a charger available that is as advanced as the kinds of batteries we now have to choose from for our varied uses. This is a five star unit and I have been recommending it to all my friends who use rechargeable AA/AAA Nicads or Nickel Metal Hydride batteries.

The MH-C9000 WizardOne Charger-Analyzer makes the most of your NiMH batteries.
Excellent charger-analyzer, it is essentially four chargers in one. One of its most useful functions is the ability to break-in new batteries, this allows you to make use of the max capacity of the batteries. Also since it has four fully independent channels it allows you to perform four different tasks at the same time. One great option that this charger-analyzer has that I have not been able to find in any other charger even in the high end LA CROSSE charger is that it allows me to discharge a battery without it recharging it again automatically. Now you might ask how is this useful? Well using this option you can test the capacity of alkaline batteries and therefore you can put to the test the claim of certain battery brands ;-). Oh and for those of you that claim that its user interface is complicated, please read the instructions. Some time ago I read someone's review that said that to see the status of each battery you had to wait for it to scroll through all the others before it, that is not the case it has a button labelled slot which allows you to quickly scroll through all four slots. The bottom line is this is the best high-end charger-analyzer for AA & AAA NiMH batteries that I know of. My only wish is that it were to show the battery charge state as a percentage and it wouldn't hurt if it showed the status of all four batteries at the same time. Any ways I find the user interface rather easy to use, so unless the one I just bought has changed dramatically in design; then those complaining of it being complicated perhaps didn't read the instructions.P.S. I forgot to write the following useful charging tips: Charging rates for batteries are classified as C.1, C.2, C.3, and so on.To make this easier to understand think of each C as a 10% i.e. C.1=10% of the battery's capacity. For example manufacturers recommend that you don't charge batteries at more than a C.3 rate, so for let's say a 2000 MAH AA NiMH battery this mean 30% of 2000 which equals to 600 MAH; in my humble opinion even if you want to charge your batteries fast you should not exceed C.5 (50% of battery rated capacity). When it comes to charging batteries the faster you charge them the hotter they will get, and some cheap brands of batteries are more likely to leak; also the hotter the batteries get when being charged the shorter their life cycle becomes i.e. the number of times that they can be recharged. So the bottom line is that those so called 15 minute chargers kill your batteries very fast and that is not a good thing specially if you have invested in high-end batteries such as the eneloop pro. I have tried to make this as easy to understand and hope that it will be of use specially to those new to using rechargeable batteries.

Staggeringly good - easy to use, informative and even fun!
Staggeringly good - the only charger I ever use for my AA and AAA batteries. As an outdoor photographer who often works in extreme environments, it's critical to ensure that my batteries are all performing properly so one malfunctioning cell doesn't have a negative impact on all the other cells in my battery grip. Simply put, on a mountain at minus 20 degrees centigrade there's no chance of 'topping' batteries up. This is where this charges comes into its own: every battery can be analysed independently, so you always know the capacity of each cell. If, like me, you are a bit of a geek you can group the batteries together based on charge performance so ensuring that there's never an instance where one cell reduces the effectiveness of an otherwise strong pack. Charging rates can also be set from a very fast charge to a slow, gentle charge. I now use this charger for all my charging needs and would never look elsewhere.

First Impressions
Had it for only a few days so far so these are just first impressions. It's big - 16x11x4 cm - but feels solid and has a 'professional' air about it.Batteries securely lock into place.Comprehensive instruction sheet.Manufacturer's confidence in the charger's longevity evident with its 3-year guarantee. The charger's firmware revision is just 4 months old. It's not a user configurable option so it's good to know that it's up to date.Easy to navigate through the charging options as long as you know what you are trying to do! By this I mean first determine which charging option you want and at what current then insert the battery then make your selections with the buttons. It really is very easy - no button presses are required for a straight charge cycle - but you may want to select a different charging rate to suit the battery capacity in which case 3 or more button presses are needed. Again, very easy to understand as long as you know what you are trying to achieve before 'launching in'.So far I have charged 3 sets of batteries and used the 'Refresh and Analise' mode on another set. I had thought this set was on its way out but the charger informs me that the batteries' capacity is only 5% less than labelled now.NOTE that the charger's power supply is the Continental 2-pin type.Very pleased that I now have total control of my rechargeable AAs and AAAs.

Solid & comprehensive quality charger with lots of options to revive old batteries & maintain new ones in prime condition
I bought this top-of-the-range charger after reading the reviews of others on Amazon. I too have used other branded chargers/batteries over the years and noticed how the batteries didn't hold their charge over time. I use rechargeable batteries for my camera flashgun so I need the power in them to be available when I get them out my camera bag. But since the batteries can sit unused for several weeks or even months at a time depending on when I find time to photograph, it is essential that I can rely on the batteries still having a good charge. So I bought Maha 2700mAh rechargeable batteries to go with this, again after reading the reviews. The charger itself is a neat and easy to use once you read the instructions. They are all in American English only. If you need another language other than English then you could be stuck! There are lots of options to select when setting up the charger for new batteries or re-conditioning old ones, though it isn't difficult to use the select and cycle buttons on the front of the unit. It has a very clear and large LCD backlit display that stays lit the whole time. So you won't want this in your bedroom unless you like a bright nightlight as it illuminates the whole room when switched on! It comes with a mains plug for the UK with a few metres of cable so it is convenient to plug in and then place the charger on a top somewhere instead of having the charger and batteries covering up the socket like some models do. I guess you could easily get an adapter for other countries if you travel or a car charger since the input port for power on the charger looks standard. As for the charging process, it is very thorough. The instructions give you an idea of charging times and some of them go on for several days while the unit thoroughly discharges and re-charges the batteries several times to maximise their working output. You can charge single batteries or up to 4 at a time and they can each have different settings according to their capacities.I know this charger is 2 to 3 times the cost of cheaper ones but I think if you want something that will give you the most from re-chargeable batteries, including rejuvenating existing tired ones, then this is a worthwhile investment.

Good buy
A fantastic quality battery charger, purchased after spending some time reviewing the available options before making a decision. Some of the reviews make comments on the number of button presses to actually start a battery charging - I've not noticed this as a problem. The product is sturdy, doesn't look out of place on the surface that I have placed it (with other tech) and charges batteries well.I've not had a requirement to use all the modes yet, so am unable to comment on them.Very slowly I am replacing my battery powered items with rechargeable batteries, so this device will get more and more use. It is amazing how many batteries exist in various remote controls, LED torches and smart home devices!

It's got me charged!
So before this purchase I had the cheap awful chargers you could buy in the supermarket for a tenner. They appeared to do the job, but after some of my batteries started dropping off horrendously I started to rethink that whole approach. If you want your batteries to last, if you have a serious job for your batteries like photography, then do yourself a favour and get this. I spent literally hours and hours researching which one to get as I was getting into photography and wanted a decent charger and batteries for speed lights. This charger does it all, if you want to try and save some old batteries and bring them back to life, then this will do that. It will literally do everything that you could ever want from a charger, and it does it safely. Some people moan about the button pressing of this charger, but seriously it is not that bad at all, in fact I find it really quick to set-up and if you like being in charge of what's going on you'll love this.Overall I'm seriously impressed with unit and wouldn't hesitate to purchase another. You simply won't go wrong with this unit at all. Just have a quick read on how to get the best out of your batteries (it'll take you minutes online and you'll be laughing. Just to note, I'm using Ansmann batteries (again after lots of research) and I love them too, great batteries.
