Classic game which entertains kids.
My son had wanted this game for ages, so finally took the plunge when it was reduced on Prime Day.I had mixed memories of it from my childhood days - mainly of it being a gimmick and no real gameplay behind it.However we are really pleased with it. After spending a few minutes building the contraption (very easy with plain instructions) the game is ready.Players move their mouse piece around the board trying to collect cheese wedges as they go. Different squares on the board have different meanings eg get some cheese, loose cheese etc, but the highlight for the kids is when someone lands on one of the Trap squares.... They get to activate the contraption which cleverly transports the ball across the board and concludes by trapping the mouse.Yes, novelty may soon wear off, but kids love the Trap.A classic game which keeps the kids happy and brings a bit if nostalgia to the parents.Would recommend, especially if it's on sale.

Throwback
Great game, lots of fun even for a group of adults trying to relive old memories!

Hours of fun
It is just a fun game for the family, especially the adult ones.It is much easier to build than the original, which I have.At the end of the day, it's a retro game and that still provides loads of fun

My 4 year old loves it
Worth every penny as my girl still wants to play this almost everyday, when she usually gets bored of new toys very quickly. A little simple as a boardgame for adults, but obviously lots of fun and easy to grasp for young kids.

Earlier versions of the game are better
Love mousetrap, but this version doesn’t feel as good as previous iterations. Not as much “jeopardy” in terms of getting away with being in the trap zone. Also, feels like game over too quickly. Bring back the toilet flush!Still feels durable and well put together, but definitely not as much fun.
