If you seen the trailer you know what you're getting
It's not a super hard game to play but it is fun. It follows the story arc of the first season to a T, which I love .. this is a great game for kids and it's also a great game for adults who have watched the show and just want an easy game to play.

Word for word the anime in game form
Interesting, gameplay is close to Ultimate Ninja Storm, using breathing techniques is a chore in this game since you use the analog stick in different directions for different moves

Fun and follows the series
I'm not really into fighting games, but it made me think of the DBZ games so I went for it. I am a fan of Demon Slayer and was excited to see a game for it. I am impressed that all the original English VAs from the anime are in this game. The visuals are stunning and the fighting is unique depending on the character. The game follows the anime/manga all the way through to the Mugen Train arc.I took off a star because: Tanjiro has the same type of responses when talking to people in towns. The roster is fairly small for a fighting game and you have to go through story mode in order to unlock more characters. (You could also grind away in multi-player to unlock characters but it's way faster to do it through story mode). I hope more variety is added character wise later on. Once you finish story mode there's not much replay value unless you enjoy online multi-player. Another thing that was a little annoying: most of this game is cutscene heavy. I understand it is for retelling the entire story, but I felt like I spent most of my time watching vs playing.IF YOU ARE A STREAMER..... be warned there are stream restrictions in place, so make sure you look into it before attempting to stream.I do recommend this game if you're a fan of the series, I did throughly enjoy playing the game.

must have for demon slayer fans!
the mechanics of this game are great. once i learned combos and how to effectively play as specific characters, it was a lot easier to win battles. i love that the cut scenes mix in images from the show. the animation of the game is amazing, it really does look like the show. there are a few wonky bits here and there game design wise, like you can walk through npcs, but otherwise it’s great.i love how the music from the show is included in the battles/events. when i was playing chapter 8 (mugen train) and completing the fight against akaza, i really felt like i was able to connect with the series in a new way since i was interacting with these important story points. though, it is a little funny that you have to beat akaza to ultimately lose to akaza.i completed this game in less than a week, but i’m still having a lot of fun playing online and against cpus - it’s also multiplayer, so i can play with my friends. the opportunity to go back and play any point of the story is also great, because i can revisit my favorite battles.if you are a demon slayer fan and like rpg type games (because i personally think the amount of interaction you have in it can make it be considered an rpg), get this game!
